Publié le 19 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayCet appartement, en rez-de-chaussée, est idéalement placé, au calme tout en étant proche du Vaporetto, de la gare, des commerces et du Rialto, bien agencé, avec petite cour privée. Un doute pour une occupation hivernale quand à l'humidité et la luminosité mais, un rez-de-chaussée à Venise quoi de plus normal !

Deuxieme séjour à Venise de l'été
Publié le 6 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayAprès un premier séjour, fin juin, avec deux adolescentes, nous sommes retournés dans ce logement fin août avec deux autres petits enfants car le lieu nous avais parfaitement convenu : proximité du centre, commerces, calme.
Les enfants ont été ravis.

Beau séjour à Venise

Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Logement conforme à la description mais peu de wifi et souvent des odeurs d'égoût
Publié le 23 oct. 2017 sur HomeAwayAccueilli par Lucas vers 21h00 à l'embarcadère fundamento nove, ligne bleue de la liaison aéroport centre ville, l'appartement est situé à 10 minutes à pied.
Il est conforme à la description.
Les trois bémols sont : la faible luminosité, il n'y a qu'une porte fenêtre donnant sur une cour ouverte partagée avec l'appartement. La lumière artificielle reste nécessaire.
Second bémol, les odeurs d'égoût qui nous ont gêné plusieurs jours sans comprendre leur origine.
Troisième point à signaler, le wifi. Il était aléatoire et à faible débit. La box n'étant pas dans l'appartement utilisé, je n'ai pas su localiser le problème.
Dernier point de détail que nous n'avions pas compris, pour le départ, inutile d'attendre le propriétaire, il suffit de laisser les clefs sur la table et de claquer la porte.
En conclusion, le studio est très situé, près des stations ca d'oro ou fondamento nove, proche de la rue commerçante Strada nove et un peu à l'écart du bruit.
Un bon produit rapport qualité prix

Lovely apartment in Venice

The host was very good at connecting with us to make sure we had a smooth check-in process and had a smart information booklet on the apartment and Venice. Can't wait to get another chance to visit!

Great Property
Publié le 20 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis apartment was fantastic, whether it's your first time in Venice or your umpteenth. Super clean and you're basically getting a home.
Street it is on is quiet and super safe. And the conveniences are amazing - it's literally next to a pub, restaurant, and fruit store for your basic needs and entertainment (but you never hear the noise), and also within walking distance is the grocery store, pharmacy, the dock to grab a boat, coffee shop for breakfast, and the one and only McDonald's in Venice. Of course you're also right next to all the attractions too but it is also easy to explore more of the island too.
Only recommendation is for the host to deal with the trash/recycling: Venice has very strict trash policies and rightly so (and Venice is suuuper clean), but if you're trying to catch a boat off the island you shouldn't have to worry about having to wait for the trashman in the morning or walk your trash through the streets to the trash collection point. Even if you do it the night before, you're inevitably going to have trash right before you go. And you cannot leave your trash outside the apartment on the street. So this is a really inconvenient and unfair ask of guests.

Hi Travis, thank you for your super review, I'm very happy you liked Ca' della Fontanella and also the wonderful Venice.
Regarding trash collection, our city has very strict rules about it, as you said. Ca' della Fontanella is a single independent apartment, so there aren't any other options, unfortunately: waiting for the trash man or walking through the collection point in the early morning.
Every guest can find all the rules about trash collection in the house and on the city website, I also send a copy before the arrival to everyone.
I can understand it could be annoying, but we think positively: it's our part of the job to keep the city clean!
