The contact with Gilberto was very easy on homelidays, he doesn't take lot of time to give an answer to questions,
The agencement of the rooms is also very good,

Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a couple of small issues when we first arrived at the apartment, however they were quickly addressed.
Great location with some excellent eateries away from the tourist traps.
A locals area which I found gave a better feel for Venice life.
The apartment was well equipped and relatively easy to find with Google maps.
You do have to navigate a few bridges to get to the accomodation, but that is the same with most of Venice.
The owners provide plenty of information to make your trip to Venice as easy as possible.

Almost Perfect Experience

Nice and quiet apartment in Venice

Very quiet and safe university neighborhood.
We had a bit of trouble the first night with the heat, and used all the blankets to compensate. Communicated with the host, and it was taken care of early the next day.
They allowed us to drop off the luggage early, which was very helpful.
WiFi was great.
Good, inexpensive market, pastry shops and pizza places with 2 minute walk.
I think that you have to navigate some stairs and bridges to get to the apartment. But their is a small waterway right next to the apartment, and perhaps a water taxi could take you there (avoiding walking over any bridge or stairs).

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet, clean and safe area outside the hectic touristy areas. Several great eating options and close to grocery stores. It is a 10 minute walk to the tourist areas. Took us about 15 minutes to walk with luggage from the train station. Several bridges along the way so make sure you can lift your bags. Unit was well stocked. Bed was comfy. Check in was easy. Host was very responsive. We had problems with AC but was quickly corrected by the host. There are screens on the windows so you can keep them open at night if you don’t like AC. Was great experience for our stay in Venice.
