made reservation and when i got there an hour later they were overbooked. they said they couldn't prevent that...

The hotel room smelled terribly of smoke. I asked to be moved to another room, they said there were none available (however the booking sites showed availability).
The manager handed me a bottle of cucumber scented cleaner and suggested I clean it myself.

Television was going out and the pool was out of commission.

The hotel was very nice but, picked this hotel because the other hotels pool I was considering was shut down for a month. When we got back to our room the next day, after our beach outing and wanted to go to the pool, it was closed because the pump went out overnight!!

very clean hotel and the staff was extremely friendly. lots of places to eat in walking distance of the hotel which was nice. very disappointing that the pool wasn’t working being that it’s the middle of the summer. part of the reason we picked this hotel was because it had a pool so that was a disappointment. breakfast was also not the greatest.
