Privacy galore!
We stayed at this property for two weeks. Check-in was very easy, and the house was very clean. We like to cook many of our own meals. We were able to do that, but with a small selection of pots, pans and utensils. The bed we slept in was comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate. The washer and dryer were definitely handy. All the sinks in the house had screens in the drains that had to be cleaned out occasionally, except the bathtub drain, which had to be cleaned after every use. We would stay here again if the occasion arises.

The cottage is cute and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. In my opinion the outside property is a little run down. The owner did say it was a work in progress. They have a lot to do. Our 5 month old golden retriever loved it so there is that

Wonderful!
This our second stay. The cottage is in a perfect location for whatever you want to do in the Venice area. And you will get a taste of real Florida! The property is peaceful and the beautiful artwork enhances the experience. Carroll is a great host as well.

Perfect getaway
This place was amazing. It even offers more than the listing describes because we were unaware of how big the grounds were! The kids had plenty of room to roam and explore safely. The beds were extremely comfortable. The place has original art which is amazing to look at! The location is perfect for privacy but also clise to the the beaches and the historic district. This will become our new yearly family spot. Got to meet Carrol as we unfortunately had to leave and she is fantastic! We havent stopped raving to everyone we know. This place should be on everyones bucket list! Thanks Carrol!

Sweet little private Oasis
This little cottage is perfect for a homey Florida stay. It was cozy, clean and ideally located close to everything we had our plans to see! Carroll was a great hostess and very responsive. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with basic necessities and my daughters loved exploring the property and admiring all of the cool art pieces in the house. I will note there is a pond the property. We have a child with Autism and I would have prepped more for it had I known about it, as she drawn to water and it made me incredibly nervous. My older child couldn’t get enough of it though, so for most families, I think it adds to the charm. All in all, we’d definitely book again!

lovely old Florida in Venice
Very nice place: big well appointed kitchen and bathroom, lots of nice space. A quiet studio away for the traffic bustle and noise of Venice, yet ten minutes only from just about everything. Highly recommended.
