Close to Venice, gracious, helpful hosts, beautifully restored home, accommodating large groups
Publié le 12 mai 2017 sur HomeAwayThe warm welcome given by Christiana and Dario in spite of our unplanned late arrival was our first impression of this excellent property and surroundings. We loved the house, and appreciated the eye given to detail in the woodwork and integrated 'Murano' glass creations. We were also able to purchase some glass from a selection tastefully displayed in the house where we stayed. Our group of 13 easily had enough room to sleep, relax and eat, while the lawn and play area was enjoyed by the younger ones. English is spoken which was helpful in planning our stay as well as conversing with our caring hosts. We were happy to leave our vehicle at the local train station (approx 5-8 min away) and take the train into Venice. There are beautiful fields surrounding this property and it was very quiet. The radiators kept us perfectly comfortable as the temperatures in April can be chilly still. Christiana and Dario are the perfect hosts, helpful and discreet. Thank you so much for a great experience and we hope to repeat it soon! Kisses to Bruno! A definite recommend!

Sweet and Lovely

Best house for a large family with teenagers

Lovely place
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented this place to have our time away from busy Venice but close enough to go back and forth. We also visited Padua and enjoyed it. Our last day we made easy lunch and had lunch in the backyard and still walk to the restaurant and had a really nice dinner.
Host was fantastic. Nice neighborhood.

A lovely little place in Mira

We were welcomed by Dario at the gate and his wonderful hospitality continued until we left.
We were impacted by a nationwide train strike and Dario went above and beyond to help us get into Venice nonetheless.
The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped - perfect for our group of 13.
Very convenient access to train and bus facilities into Venice.
Thanks so much to our host… hopefully we’ll come back again soon.

A Wonderful Retreat Between Venice and Padua
Publié le 17 août 2023 sur HomeAwayLocated in the quiet rural middle space between bustling Venice and historic Padua, this secluded retreat is a gem for exploring the area, with many delightful sights and restaurants to enjoy within a very short drive as well.
We wanted to see both Venice and Padua but did not want to stay in either place, so this mid-point spot was ideal, and proved to be the perfect spot for us. The host was wonderful. Excellent communication. All the amenities available and a very suitable place for myself and three adult children to say. Each of the 4 bedrooms had its own en suite full bath. This property has been very well taken care of, has all the modern appurtenances, but also is decorated in a very charming way. Comfortable and serene, we would stay here again if we wander back to northern Italy. Brava!

Great Host
Publié le 12 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is everything the listing says, it slept 11 members of my family very comfortably. So many bathrooms it was easy for us all to get ready for the day. Beautiful country setting. The home owners were very accommodating. My family thanked me multiple times for booking this home. My only regret was that we didn’t really get to take advantage of the yard, or spend much time in this beautiful house and we didn’t get to spend anytime conversing with the host because we had a very busy schedule planned. Highly recommend staying here.

We were an extended family of 10 and we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Home! Great hosts!
Publié le 25 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWow wow wow! This is a beautiful place to stay on the countryside not too far from the Venice main square. A short walk to the bus station will take you there. The hosts Dario and his wife live in the house next door and are very accommodating. They will take you to the market or bus by request for a fee, but definitely worth it if needed. They answer any questions you have phone in a timely matter. They left welcome gifts for us. Dario met the taxi on the road by bike to guide us to the house. This is a great place for a big family! We fit 10 people comfortably.

Ideal family vacation
