Hello Charles, I'm very sorry you enjoyed your stay so little to give a 3/5. Just to clarify: 1. the several burned light bulbs you're talking about are 2 out of 33 (i counted them, since I'm petty): one in each bathroom. Unfortunately those light bulbs get burned very easily, and in the morning, when I went to check, they were working so they probably got burnt in the afternoon. 2. The time between the first call you made and the second one to tell me the hot water wasn't working correctly were 12 minutes (first call at 17:05 - second call 17:17). I get that it can be a major issue if the hot water isn't working for 12hrs, but 12 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time. 3. The location. This is what in your review bothers me the most: you saw the map before booking, you can see on the map there are NO BRIDGES except for the Accademia one to get on the other side of the Grand Canal so I really don't understand how could you not be aware of this fact. Also if you had just asked I could have told you that there is the Gondola Ferry, less than a minute far from the apartment, that goes back and forth between San Marco area and Salute so you don't have to walk all the way to the Accademia Bridge. Moreover, since you've been so scrupulous about the HUGE issues mentioned above, I'm very disappointed you didn't mention I agreed to an early check-in at 12:00 pm, but you arrived 2 hours earlier than expected (10:00 am) and that when I rushed there in less than one hour (I basically flew over there) you were nowhere to be found and made me wait more than 30 minutes when you were supposed to be on the other side of the canal. All that said, I would very much like to hear from you to try and get my job done better. Thank you, Giorgia
