Good base for exploring Ventnor and further afield

The hotel is in a good location in Ventnor with easy access to the local amenities. The gardens are stunning and there was a good selection of food available at breakfast. Our only complaint was the shower as it was very low pressure. The hotel were very accommodating with our last minute booking and were able to store our bicycles for us overnight.

Nice staff. I got a room upgrade for free. Nice breakfast but not many choices. The facilities could be cleaner.

myself and my wife had a very enjoyable stay at the eversley hotel food was good staff helpful it was a 3 night stay and was just what we needed would book again

Great hotel in Ventnor

Great place just outside the beach area. Great access to a cliff walk via a simple walk, leaving the hotel via the back entrance.

Friendly hotel

Lovely 4 day stay at Eversley. Great breakfast and food. It was warm and very welcoming. As soon as we arrived we got a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise.

Disappointing

Overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The hotel is very tired and in serious need of update. Room was badly laid out, making access to wardrobe difficult. Handles missing from drawers. Bed was very small. Bedroom window would only open a couple of inches - bathroom window didn't open at all. Bathroom was tiny, poorly designed and extremely dingy. Shower door wouldn't close properly and shower was full of black mould. I notice this comment was made in a previous review on 27 August 2016, so no attempt has been made to rectify problems brought to their attention. Standard of cleanliness was extremely poor, particularly in the bathroom. Vacuum cleaner was used to prop doors open - no evidence that it was used for cleaning rooms! On the plus side, the breakfast was very good - wide choice and quality ingredients.
