The bathroom door was broken and it was very old overall. The screen didn’t close well and we got bitten by mosquitoes. Very dark room.

Inconvenient check in, front desk woman wouldn’t allow my husband to check us in even though he had the itinerary and even held onto his license and credit card. I was at the car tending to my children, I had to go in to check in myself after she held him up for no reason. Unnecessary and inconvenient, not to mention not very welcoming. Would never stay here again, room was old and felt dirty- only positive was the close proximity to boat cruises. We booked 2 nights but left after first night.

We really loved that we could walk to the marina. We loved the hot tub and pool area. The lobby bar was small but nice to have. The room, bathroom and beddings were a bit old but were clean.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are normal size. But rooms need a remodel. Wallpaper peeling from walls, crack and stain on the ceiling from possible water leak above. Chipped stained furniture and rugs. Overall feeling was gross, even though it was clean.

second week of Aug 2024. Hotel location is very good and close to harbor for the Channel Island boating and restaurants. Hotel room rate was kind of over priced for Sat night for about $300 before tax. plus parking $12 per day.

Great ocean view location

Glad I got to stay at this hotel. Picked it for the location since it was close to the harbor. Close to great food and deep sea winery. Room was big and well appointed. Stayed in room 314. Clean and functional. Mini fridge, coffeemaker and microwave were great amenities. Plus the huge balcony overlooking Ventura Harbor Village. Could use a bit of minor maintenance as the screen was detached. Beware that dumpsters are exchanged early in the morning. Holiday inn next door has free breakfast so that might make it worth staying there next time since it was the same room rate.
