Beautiful 3 Bed Detached Villa, Heated Swim Pool & Jacuzzi, Wifi, SKY tv, BBQ Reviews

Lovely and clean,comfortable, well presented, pool and jacuzzi the cherry on the cake. Renters must have a car as no restaurants nearby but we know the area and all the places to eat. Hope to return for longer next year with family. Steve very helpful and good to know someone available if we had needed them. Wendy & Paul

Images on VRBO are outdated. Pool and its surrounding area in a poor condition. Suspect there is a leak as water level dropped dramatically during our stay. No cover to put over it at night. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean but kitchen and utensils were dirty. Beds very uncomfortable

Firstly, apologies to Mark, the owner, for taking ages to write my review since arriving home. Upon arriving at the house Steve, from the management company, met us and showed us around the spotless property. A very nice and very helpful man. The house had everything we needed and more. I have to say, the heated pool was an absolute blessing. Absolutely perfect temperature, even tempting me in, which is a miracle. For April, having the pool heated was so worth the bit of extra money. If we were to come back I would most definitely booked this house again. Communication with both Mark and Steve was excellent.

We had a great stay in this villa and checking in and out was an easy process. We made good use of the pool and general outdoor area and the villa was nice and clean. The only criticism i have is that the pictures on here appear to be fairly old (the video is 8 years old) as whilst the inside is pretty much the same the outside has changed and aged Also the picture here shows the dining table etc being under cover but effectively outside where as now it has all been enclosed. Its no big deal but the pictures do need to reflect that. Thank you

Fantastic villa,great location car not needed as bus stop into local towns 5 minute walk away onsite restaurant great food and reasonable price,close tapas bar again great food on way to bus stop.villa had everything you needed,spent most time around pool area which is fantastic.used roof terrace early morning and last thing at night stargazing be nice if there was more furniture on roof. Overall 2 week stay 5 adults 1 four year old perfect 10/10 Steve was very helpful on arrival and leaving although we did not have any problems we knew he was only a phone call away Will definitely be back

Fantastically efficient aircon which we only needed to use briefly each day. Steve dealt with an issue we had with the pool very promptly and efficiently. Well equipped house, lovely surroundings . Good local bars and the menu on site very good value. Service there very good. Spanish bar down road offered a free tapas for most drinks purchased and was great. Evening artisan Market at Zimbali lovely. Best Meal and mojito at one of the rooftop restaurants in Mojahar village

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Mark's property. Booking the villa and the communication afterwards was very easy and Mark always replied promptly to my numerous emails, sorry Mark! The Villa was perfect for all our needs and spotlessly clean. We arrived earlier then the check in time and was able to go into the villa as we had arranged this before we arrived, which was lovely. I ordered an online shop for the day of arrival so we had some supplies which worked well, even though the delivery was late as the driver got lost! The drive from Almeria Airport is very straight forward and took about 50 minutes. All the facilities which you would need in a villa have been provided to a high standard and the pool area is wonderful! We had lots of lovely BBQ's in the villa and also visited the on site Restaurant on a couple of occasions which was very good indeed, both the service and the food were excellent, there is live music on a Sunday night as well. There is also a little Tapas Bar about two minutes walk from the villa which was also great and very cheap! On site there is also a games room containing table football, darts and table tennis. Rackets etc can be picked up from the Security Office for hire, costs 5 euros for the day. There is also a fabulous communal swimming pool with loads of sun beds but we didn't feel the need to use it, as we had our own lovely pool and Jacuzzi at the villa. However, it was always empty and the surrounding gardens and stream are beautiful for an evening stroll on the way to the restaurant. Steve, who looks after the property in Spain, is incredibly helpful and on hand to help at any needed time. When my shopping delivery didn't turn up, he chased it up for me and even came to the Villa to direct the driver, nothing was too much trouble for him, so thank you Steve for everything! You definitely need a car here. The town is about half an hours walk away, but in the heat there was no way my lot would walk there! The supermarket is excellent and only 5 minutes drive from the villa. To summarise, I would 100% recommend this villa if you just want a holiday to chill and relax and don't mind driving whilst on holiday.

The location of the villa is perfect if you want to get away from it all but still want to be reasonably close to the coast and larger towns. A car is a must but there are many beautiful coastal towns and smaller villages within a short drive. The villa itself has all the equipment and facilities you need for a comfortable holiday. There are ample cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery for those who want to eat in or I believe there are plenty of places close by to eat out, although we didn't try any of them. The villa was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clean, although there are a couple of sharp bits on the steps so care is needed but the grass around the edge is great to prevent slips and falls. The pool is a great size and there is plenty of room for inflatables! The area around the villa was beautiful. Within the gated community there are lovely walks and a couple of communal pools, although only one was open at the time of our visit. There is a small park for children that we used a couple of times. The outside space was perfect. Plenty of seating and sun beds that could be moved to sun or shade depending on your preference. The bar area was a nice touch and there is a fridge if the walk to the kitchen is too far! In the surrounding area we visited markets in Villaricos and Garrucha, both of which were good fun. We also visited the bullring in Vera which was really interesting. The coastal paths are beautiful and there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments! The agent Steve was really helpful from start to finish. His team were always on hand to answer questions and resolve any issues we had. The only thing that could improve this villa is the provision of BBQ gas. Whilst a BBQ is provided we didn't use it as holidaymakers are expected to refill the cannister when it runs out and we didn't want to have to fund BBQs for the rest of the season! The bottle felt almost empty when we arrived so we didn't take the risk, we bought a couple of disposable ones from the Iceland store nearby which was a shame. It would be fantastic if gas could be refilled by the agent when necessary. A minor point and it really didn't make any difference to us, but worth mentioning. Also worth mentioning is that the directions to the villa that we were sent by the owners are a bit confusing. If you have satnav follow this instead and don't use the agent number on the instructions as this is also incorrect.

Excellent Property and communications. Family loved it so much and wish to go back again. Due to the time of year the pool was quite cold like 14° but we requested the pool heating on. And it made so much difference, family was in it everyday then. Amazing place, and peaceful.
