Perfect for sleeping
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThree of us stayed here for two nights. Enjoyed the good water pressure in the shower. The unit is tiny but in this area you aren’t hanging out in your room. The stairs are no problem. Don’t bring large luggage to Italy period! Close to train and town. Bed comfy. Didn’t use kitchen. Nothing to take a shower so bring your own. Easy check in/out! Great little place for what we needed. To sleep while exploring beautiful Cinque Terre!

Excellent location and comfortable stay

Rock house rocks

Place is ideal but the stairs are quite the jaunt but worth it! We have do many nice people to help if needed, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Stefania!

Cozy flat 65 steps up from the central street

Cozy apartment for two with good proximity to town.
Cons: Sewer smell coming from the bathroom that Stephania tried to address but still lingered. Sewer issues?
Broken shower head that she said will be replaced.
65 steps to the flat, not a problem for us but could be an issue for others.

Good Homebase
Publié le 28 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect spot for me traveling solo and wanting to hike between towns and explore the Cinque Terre! Stefania was excellent at communication and very responsive when there was an unfortunate leak in the ceiling. There are a lot of steps to climb to get here, so if you have bad knees, this is not the place for you! It is comfortable for 1-2 people but would be pretty tight with 2 more on the pullout, unless maybe they are children. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a homebase for exploring the Cinque Terre.

Location, Location, Location!
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayYou couldn’t ask for a better location. It was an easy walk from the train station & in the heart of Vernazza. Yes, it was several steep steps to get there but you come to Cinque Terra for the hiking trails so pack light & enjoy! Our recommendation to the owner would be to have better lighting at the entry way. We arrived after dark & it would have been helpful to have additional lighting. The key require multiple rotations (similar to screwing or unscrewing a cap) in order to gain access. Once you enter the outside door, the “Rock House” is the door straight ahead at that same level, you do not go up the stairs on the left.

Excellent spot to stay while in Vernazza. Need to be able walk up steps with luggage.
