Needs attention to details

Condo was nice but requires a lot of attention. Bed sheets and pillows have stains, cooking pans are in bad shape. Many bugs inside although is understandable as is close to the woods. Internet does not work most of the time. Low water pressure if 1 shower is running, for big group ie annoying as you need to wait for one person to finish.

The picture alone should tell you everything

The pic in this listing makes it look like it is it's own single unit, it is not. It is a condo. Unit above this one. Evolve is the property mgmt. company used by the owner. They are terrible and if you can find this out before booking another unit within these properties, I would. Anyway, place was not cleaned from previous occupants. We arrived at 930pm and Evolve said they would call us back and send someone to clean it. They did not, we had to stay up til 130am to clean all of the sheets so my kids could go to sleep. The owner was notified and began texting me. At first reluctant to make things right and we texted quite a bit through the night, but after threatening a credit card charge back and small claims court, they came around. Kept blaming the prop. mgt. company, which we understand, but they don't own the property. Had to wake up early the next day and wash all of the towels that were in a pile on the bathroom floors. Said they would refund one night as well as the cleaning fee. They shorted us $40. They must be that desperate.

Good place, few amenities

The home was large and comfortable, but was lacking some basic items for a stay. There was no sponge to wash dishes with, and only a very small amount of dish soap. There was also no body wash in the showers.

Vernon condo stay

Prior to and during stay communication with host was non-existent. Had to go through VRBO for any problems and still had to wait for resolution. Upon arrival there was no internet access for the first day which we needed for business it was only after I provided detailed information on the problem that we were able to resolve this.

The property overall was cute. It was not the cleanest. Our sheets were dirty. The internet did not work. The area was wonderful.

Issues

There were so many different difficulties throughout our stay: power cutting off downstairs (which meant no heat for one night), spotty WiFi (which meant the thermostat tied to WiFi was off - no heat for hours throughout the house), kitchen cabinet doors almost falling on us because they weren’t properly attached, getting locked in…. Too bad, because the property looks nice and could have been great with more care and thought. Heaters downstairs would also make a huge difference.

Bugs.

It was nice, but this unit had a lot of bugs (lady bugs, flies and bees), maybe due to the closeness of the woods. It was neat but not the cleanest at least not to my standards that is.
