It was our last night in France. We wish we could have stayed more nights. We stayed in a house with 3 bathrooms and two bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Everything was great. We dine at their restaurant.

This is a serene property with a picturesque view of the river. The room was extremely warm and the only way to cool it was by opening the windows. Two problems with that option: the River water over the dam is extremely loud and the bugs come in at night.
We were impressed with their restaurant quality, but disappointed with their reluctance to serve us due to language changes. Although, I was using Google translate and 1 have mediocre French skills it was obviously, they hesitate to serve us.

Beautiful location, all rooms are individual, this hotel is a must for all travelers looking for something outside of the usual hotel chain. The village was beautiful as well

This property is 25 minutes from Monet’s Garden and also from the Vernon train station. A taxi ride out is about €35 Euro, and the closest restaurants other than the one on the property are not within walking distance. You need a car if unwilling to deal with this. The staff is wonderful and when they understood that I was on foot they assisted me with taxi arrangements. The bedding was the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel stay this year and the bathroom was spacious and well appointed. I would recommend the restaurant with 4 stars. Simple, elegant fare well prepared, fresh local ingredients and excellent flavors. I will stay here again, and spend more than one day, but I think I’ll rent a car.
