A clean place to stay over night

The staff at Travel Inn was excellent! They accommodated for our every need. Nice, humble, respectful, and eager to help you! My next trip to Vicksburg, MS. I will be staying at the Travel Inn!

clean enough, furnishings old but everything worked. A little overpriced. Took forever to check in, not given info on location of ice machine, wifi access or password, but clerk was kind

Stop over in Vicksburg

This stay was a one-night break in a long road trip. The hotel is an old one but the outside was maintained and the grounds were clean. It is a NO-FRILLS hotel and the price I paid for it through hotels.com was outrageous. Watch out for that one. The room was questionably sufficient and the beds were comfortable for us.

I chose this property because it got good reviews and the price was good. I was traveling alone with my teenage son and felt very unsafe. The lobby is not even open. The guy checked me in through the window. Door lock was not in good operational condition. The lot next door looked like a trash dump. The place is so dingy and faded the sheets were this weird green color. Yuck!!!

Really dirty. The carpet was full of tufts of animal hair and the room smelled of mildew. There was human hair in the shower and mold in the fridge. These things were particularly alarming indicators of a lack of cleanliness during covid which is unsafe. I don’t know why this hotel had the rating on Expedia that it did and how it could have possibly been worth $70 a night. Very disappointed.
