Our first night, around 10pm, Aug 2, 2024, was disappointed that it wasn’t cleaned properly as requested days before arrival.
Feeling itchy after 20 mins; then I saw the inside drawers weren’t cleaned and then we discovered the bottom area of the coat closet was even dirtier.
No managers and no rooms to accommodate us so we had to sacrifice for one night. We had to clean the inside drawers ourselves on our first night.
The next day, we approached the manager and then they did a proper cleaning. I had to ask for compensation and they were willing to take a bit off for the first night.
After the thorough cleaning, the room was fresh, very clean and no itchy.
(However, it has this musty odors in the washroom; must be from their cleaning cloths.. I wiped them (the counters, toilets and toilet door) with my disposable cloths and the odour went away)
The pillows were not great but manageable.
Next time I bring my own pillows.
Overall it was good. I hope it won’t happen again and the room is always clean properly for any visitors.
All the staff were friendly.

Arriving at 10 pm and want my credit card for incidentals when I paid for the room in full is ridiculous. I don’t understand this but I can assume it’s in case i damage the property. My pet peeve!!
