Très bel endroit, très propre. Chambre petite mais confortable.
C'est un club privé, donc il faut porter un code vestimentaire précis. On ne s'est pas sentis très accueillis par les gens qui le fréquentaient et nous n'avons pas osé profiter du restaurant, de la terrasse et des aires communes. Mais le reste était très bien, les employés étaient très gentils et ne nous ont jamais fait sentir qur nous n'étions pas à notre place.

très vieil hotel
Publié le 12 oct. 2015 sur Hotelsbel hotel mais il ne faut pas comparer car devant revenir sur victoria, nous avons fait un séjour chez un concurrent et là l'hotel parait terne, vieux, pas attrayant et relevant plus du musée que de l'hotel. Moyenne d'âge 80 ans, dress code pénible et ambiance ne donnant que l'envie de sortir des murs pour fréquenter des endroits plus jeunes et plus sumpa.

Malgré son caractere retro, l hotel est tres bien entretenu er propose de tres Bon petit dejeuners! Il est en Centre idealement situé en centre ville. Il y a Aussi un parking a 12dollars la journee a proximité .

victoria downtown is lovely

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we really loved this hotel. The location was perfect and it was easy to walk anywhere in the city. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm the day we were in Victoria and our room got a little bit warm overnight, but we were OK with the fan provided. The only downside was we needed to have the windows open for cool air and so in the morning we were woken by the sun and the seagulls. The seagulls are very loud in the city.
We loved exploring the hotel, which is so beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, who is staying in Victoria!

Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Great after a long day walking the busy streets. Perhaps too quiet for most but I as exactly what I was looking for.

No Air conditioner, mildew in bath, no outlets to charge phones, bed too hard, elevator floor uneven which made it difficult to roll carts in or out of elevator. Need screens on windows. Parking an issue, got ticket across the street when I was only 4 mins late. Do not recommend others to stay there. Too many rules to stay there.

We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good stay and that we did not know about the issues while you were in-house. We would have been happy to offer you a different room that may have suited you better. Unfortunately, since we are a heritage building, air conditioning isn't an option, but we are very lucky to be located so close to the Inner Harbour, as it provides our rooms with a beautiful sea breeze in the summer. It has been unusually hot this week however, we are very sorry this caused discomfort during your stay. We do inform all guests about parking in our confirmation e-mails sent to you before your stay with us, but the city of Victoria would be enforcing the parking tickets across from the club. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Glad we stayed at this Gentleman's Club landmark
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe Union Club still exudes the atmosphere of a gentleman's club of the English Empire with its beautiful and overwhelming wood finishes, room layouts, quiet atmosphere, and service. You'll see dedications to the heroes of WWI and portraits of the king and Winston Churchill. It also has a snooker room that appeared to be in use most of the time. The food service and quality is good and our suite was very comfortable and upgraded. Wifi worked throughout the club. Showers had hot water and good pressure. With any club, there are rules and they are strict about their dress code and security. Most of all, its location is primo.
