In the very small village of Caboales, near Villablino. The first has a supermarket with short opening hours and 2 bars that serve decent but basic food, although the pulpo was good at Sardon! Supermarket Gadiz in Villablina has most you need. Fish and certain meats not every day or every moment available, but in general well stocked. Some restaurants in Villablino with most local food. The resort is great and has many nearby trails to walk. The scenery is beautiful and pure. The houses have everything you need andnthe owner has really thought of everything, it's really complete compared to other houses we've rented before. A visit to Ponferrada and Leon was very enjoyable! Recommend this place for families with younger kids, but our teenagers liked it as well (and our dog!). Wifi is strong ,so that helps as well, furthermore nice pool and lovely barbeque area. Enjoy!
