Fantastic family holiday.
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a fantastic long weekend with the whole family - ranging from 6-80. The pool was used by young and old, despite the low temperature of the water. There was plenty of room to spread out and we really appreciated the number of chairs and the large indoor and outdoor tables. The BBQ is excellent and was used on two of the nights, while the short distance to the Vincentia shops was a boon on the night we wanted to buy chips!
The house is even closer to the beach than it looks, allowing for beach walks, swims and rock fishing, so everyone was catered for.
The grandchildren have already put in a request to stay here again. I think it will be granted.

Family Holiday

Wouldn't stay there again
Publié le 17 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayGood location, however there were issues with cleanliness. The fans in the bedrooms were coated with dust and the exhaust fan in the kitchen was disgusting.
The BBQ didn't work properly and no towels provided - despite being told only to bring beach towels.
The pool was dirty, little toilet paper and not well stocked. The condiment bottles were empty.
Have stayed in much nicer places in Vincentia that are cheaper

It was disppointing and we will certainly be following these issues up.
I have reviewed the correspondence that you were sent and we most definitely reminded you to bring bath and beach towels. This is also noted in our listing on Stayz. I'm so sorry if you felt you were misinformed.
I would also have welcomed you to call me from the property so I could attend and check over these issues that you have raised. I received no calls or emails from you to assist.
The pool is checked prior to every guest attending, and is professionally serviced once a month. im not sure whether there was bad weather prior to your staty which may account for leaves in the pool?
We have not received any report of the BBQ not working. Again, I will investigate now that we have been made aware.
The toilet paper is stocked by our cleaner prior to every guest attending. We supply 2 rolls per toilet as a standard, and have never had a complaint about this.
We will take on your feedback and thank you for bringing these items to our notice so we can rectify.
