Ocean side of Atlantic Ave, no busy street to cross, Parking is on 78th st so you don’t have to back into traffic on Atlantic Ave, Newly renovated: 957 sq ft inside, 3 Bedroom, 2 bath.
Dog-friendly duplex/condo unit with fully fenced yard; and 3 steps to entryway, 3 BR(2 queens, 2 Twins); stay and play available for infant children. Under the guest column please tell is how many adults and children are coming, and slide the tab over to blue if your bringing your pet dog, pet fee is $30 per night, if you do t see the blue tab just let us know you are bringing your pet and we will send you info on the pet fee. Thanks

2 indoor bathrooms, one is a full bath, the other in the master is a half bath, plus private outdoor shower with hot and cold water(turned off in winter months), stocked with all cooking supplies, pots,pans, silverware, toaster, barware, Kuerig coffee maker, , kitchen table seats 4, new central air conditioning, Internet with Roku Tv, no local channels or cable, so bring for firestick, washer/dryer; iron/board; blow dryer. 50" flat screen smart TV.

Only approx 264 foot steps to direct public beach access ; semi private beach compared to Virginia Beach boardwalk beach.

Also at the opposite end of street within 1 block there are some good walking trails in the state park. Primitive

Unit comes with some beach chairs, a beach cart for transporting your beach items, please bring your own umbrellas.

Also we provide all bed linens,and bath towels, please bring your own beach towels.

We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Guests are responsible for replenishing their supplies.

It is ideal for a group of friends, couples, or small families. Also perfect for an off season getaway, military transition, or temporary corporate housing.

We welcome your dogs, they are allowed on the beach on leash anytime before Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day. During the summer season your dog can still enjoy the beach before 10am or after 6 pm always keep them on leash. Unit has nice front yard area, completely enclosed with fencing, and grass🐕, Rear area is also fenced in and private and mostly just sand, large shade tree in back for shade and all the leaves you want to take home with yo, under the guest section column please tell us how many adult are coming and how many children, and if your bringing your pet dog slide the tab to the right so we know a dog is on the property


Parking is on the side of unit off of Atlantic Ave, enough parking for 2 full size cars, or you may pull forward to the fence and “ stack “ small cars.

There is a locking storage shed for securing your bicycles if need also.

Location is convenient to Ft Story , just 12 blocks away, Virginia Marine Science Museum, First Landing state park is just a few blocks away, great place to ride a bike and a nice beach for kids, Boardwalk is a short 30 blocks away, Rudy Inlet is a short drive to charter a boat for fishing or dolphin watching, plenty of restaurants and entertainment. Owners live locally.

Walking distance from the rental to the boardwalk is 2.4 miles, walking on the beach.

Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, are approx 45 min away.

This cozy house is so well designed that it feels bigger than the pictures look. Beautifully decorated, with a wonderful location steps away from beautiful dunes and beach. Well stocked with amenities. Fenced yard made travel with dog easy. We’ll go back!

Wonderful little bungalow by the beach
This place was just lovely! Cute little place a short 2 minute/`1 block walk to the beach with no need to cross any traffic Place had everything we needed - could easily sleep six people. Place was clean, convenient and walkable (easily) to the beach or the hiking trails within Point State Park. I will DEFINITELY be coming again next year!

Dogs Vacation
We wanted to take the dogs to the beach. The fenced in yard was great. It is on a busy street, so we were always out with the dogs when they went out. We live in the country, so they didn't like the city noise (the cars and motorcycles). Loved the beach so close, took them to the beach every day. They loved it. The is nice house, they have everything you need. There is a bike/hiking trail across the street. The only down fall is we couldn't get the local channels on the tv. We had planned a night of getting a pizza and watching shows we like but couldn't get the channel. And the front room furniture isn't very comfortable. The bed was comfortable so was the pillows. We enjoyed our time there

Our half of the duplex was bright and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group. Everything we needed was available. The walk to the beach was close however the beach was very wide to the water. Beach was very clean and not at all crowded. Would stay again.

Loving VB, Loving The Leaping Doodle
This was the perfect place for us. And we loved the location. We could beach it which was right down the road or we could go to First Landing State Park for the the Bay or we could go to The Narrows. We love to Paddle board so the options were right there close by. The place was everything they said it would be. It was clean and very comfortable. Great beds!! And we loved the outdoor shower. If you are traveling with dogs it is a great place to stay. The floors are wonderful and easy to clean. The yard is fenced in however always check the gates (there are 3 of them) they got left open a lot. So we just took them out on a leash to make sure no escaping. The back area is totally closed in so we were comfortable leaving them out there when we were out there. Kitchen is totally equipt. And it has a great washer and dryer. We love VB and when we come back we will definitely stay here!!

LOVED IT!
The Leaping Doodle was fabulous! So quaint and cozy; has everything you need for a relaxing beach week. Extra dog friendly too - dog bowls provided. Our son was stateside for a few weeks and got to stay with us due to proximity to the base. Highly recommend and we’lll be back!

Wonderful Find!
We enjoyed the quiet restfulness, the charming decor with cheerful beach colors, the cool air conditioning during summer heat; the 5-minute walk to the ocean, and being a short drive to restaurants, shops and a dolphin cruise! We were thrilled we could bring our dear family dog with us to this pet-friendly rental with fenced yards in the front and back. We would definitely love to stay as guests again.

The backyard was disgusting and full of flies. We were unable to enjoy it at all. The outdoor shower was rotted and the floor was about to break so we never used it. If the owners perhaps used some rent money to reinvest in a backyard, it would be better. We found a cockroach crawling up the wall where our daughter was sleeping. She ran out of her room screaming. We contact the property owners and they gave us a partial return of our money but acted like we were being unreasonable. I am sorry. I draw the line at disgusting bugs like cockroaches.

Place is ok
The property is by an extremely busy highway type road. You can not leave your dogs out in the fenced in areas due to 1) HUGE multiple poison plants growing all over front of house (unless you are ok with poison oil on their fur and you petting or sleeping with them and you get poison and 2) "backyard" is full of dirt and sand so we walked our dog for bathroom. Did not want to be in the "backyard" as it is dirt and sand all over with multiple ants everywhere climbing all over the table and chairs. Beds were so so & "furniture" in living area is wicker sunporch type decor, not comfortable after long days walking, etc. The owner had the audacity to send a bill on check out day to try to charge us $300 for after check out saying garbage left "all over" and "pizza & marshmallow" in microwave. A maid fee is added into the total cost to stay at this place along with other made up fees so trying to charge me an extra $300 is 100% absurd. Nowhere in the listing does it state about "a mess" or "place should look exactly as it did when you checked in." There is a maid fee and maids for a reason. However, I had 2 loads of wash in of their towels, towels put in front of wash and dishes run in dishwasher and yet it wasn't mandatory. Anyone looking to rent this place, beware, owner is Sheisty and tries to make up things to charge you for after the fact that is indeed not listed in the details of this listing or warranted, but just greed trying to take advantage of others. Beware

Perfect spot to enjoy Virginia Beach
We were in VA for a sporting event for my son. Three kids and two adults. This was the perfect spot away from the busyness of downtown Virginia Beach. Only a short 7 minute drive there when we wanted to grab a coffee or a meal. Having easy access to the beach was amazing! Will stay again!

Great place to stay. Close to the Boardwalk and only steps to the ocean. Wide, clean beach perfect for young families or dogs. Bonus: Dolphins swimming in the surf! House was very clean. Had everything we could need. Will definitely stay here again.

Dog friendly and close to the beach!
Nice clean and just the right size for a family of 5 with 2 dogs. The tile floors and fenced in yard are great with pets. You don't have to cross a busy road to walk to the beach so one less thing to worry about with 3 kids and 2 dogs. Beach supplies are in the shed so no need to worry about bringing them with you. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to coming back!
