"Make Some Waves" in the beauty of Sandbridge Beach! Situated just south of VA Beach Oceanfront and the Dam Neck Naval Base (Navy Seals!) in the Virginia Outer Banks, Sandbridge is truly a hidden gem…a traditional coastal surfing and fishing community from days past.

Make Some Waves offers an enjoyable 3-minute walk to an uncrowded residential beach, and just about the same distance from 2 restaurants/bars, a seasonal cabana bar, water sports rental, a bait shop/gift shop, and a seasonal coffee/breakfast spot. Gather the essentials at the Sandbridge Market and find other restaurants, ice cream, and beach shops a ~5 minute drive to the north end of town. Chain Grocery Stores, Target, Wal-Mart, Home Goods, and Home Depot, plus many restaurants, a movie theater and additional shopping are a 15 minute ride down Sandbridge Road. The Little Island Park and Fishing Pier is about a 5 minute walk—playground, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, and covered pavilions. The entrance to Back Bay Wildlife refuge is a just mile walk, run, bike or drive down the road. Enjoy biking, fishing, boating, walking, running, beaching, swimming, surfing, exploring protected wetlands, amazing sunrises and sunsets, soaking up the sun and listening to the sounds of the ocean, watching the sunsets over the bay...a perfect, relaxing time with family and friends.

Our home is fully renovated with high-end finishes, while retaining the coastal charm and comfort of a traditional elevated beach bungalow. The house is a well-appointed and spacious 1900+ sq ft with a large open indoor living space, a screen porch, 5 generously sized bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. 5th bedroom is on lower level and has a separate entrance, full bath, seating area and TV/mini fridge. There is a seasonal exterior shower and full bathroom near the pool for additional convenience!

Open chef’s kitchen with all of the supplies you need to cook and host post-beach dinners around a large island and dining area. GE, KitchenAid, and Samsung appliances include a wall oven and microwave, induction stove, Keurig, and dishwasher.

The house sleeps 16. Bedroom layout—Upper Level: One King; One King; One Queen with a twin/twin bunk; One bedroom with 2 twin/full bunks. Lower Level: Queen, sitting area, full bath and mini fridge.

Private Inground Saltwater Pool and a fully-fenced rear yard with room for your dog to run (just make sure to clean up after them :)! A pool safety fence separates the main yard from the pool and adds an extra layer of safety for children and pets. Large driveway and paved/stone lot with parking for 7+ vehicles.
