Don’t order wine!

Wine is ridiculously expensive in India, when asked to bring the cheapest, the waiter deliberately brought the most expensive, twice! That is our only complaint.

The room I took was nice, and the overall hotel was good. The service was exceptional (I checked in at 2am). Heads up, tourists should ensure they have their visa if from abroad. The room was clean, cool and the bed was excellent. I had a very good rest. The shower was in good working order and nice and large. The breakfast options were excellent. The checkout was easy and the same person from 2am was still there with a bright smile. Small picky details, although the room was nice, make sure you clean handles, mirrors, taps etc... to streak free shine. Dust the cupboard handles and skirtings in the room. Minor detail makes a big difference to some (and most Marriott hotels are really good). Note, still 5 star overall for my needs. The staff were excellent, and the small memento at the end was a nice touch. I will stay again.when back in the city.
