Good location for Flinders Chase National Park
Publié le 1 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a very comfortable stay at island Time. The house is well set up, clean and very quiet. Caught salmon ( delicious ) at the local beach and looked for fossils in the rocks. Good location for arriving at Remarkable rocks early to catch the best light. Very happy with our stay here.

Our grateful thanks Jenny for your appreciative review. Glad to hear of your success with the salmon and imagine our fish-cleaning sink was put to good use. The fossilised shells and root cavities in the rocks at the eastern end of the beach are left over from the last ice age between 10,000~20,000 years ago. Warm regards, Ian & Ann

Relaxation at it's finest
Publié le 25 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayAwesome place to stay. Sit on the balcony listening to the ocean waves, watch the wallabies and birds. The house has every comfort you need. Highly recommend.

Many tourist attractions close to where the house is
The house is great
But
The house would present a lot better with some maintenance
The big outdoor deck area needs restoring
A new hand basin and taps in the bathroom are well overdue…
The Property Manager, Ian was absolutely fantastic
Ian was very responsive to messages, and very helpful and attentive, in a great way.

Thank you Stephen for your 5-star review. Expect you noticed our new deck roof and wraparound railing replaced in August last year – big job. Great spot for morning coffee & visiting wildlife. You timed your stay perfectly to see the intense aurora. Stunning photos posted of the display over Point Ellen. Regards, Ian & Ann

South coast stay

Absolutely superb! Property is immaculate, comfy beds, lots of wildlife around the deck, particularly in the evening. Fabulous position as very peaceful so all you can hear are the birds & the surf (beach easy walking distance from house). Hosts email all relevant information and are accessible if necessary. We have travelled a lot around KI and this property is simply marvellous! Thanks

Affordable in Ideal Location

Thanks Sue. Our deck is a highlight of staying at Island Time, especially with a new roof & railing. The little birds you saw above the deck are striated pardalotes using nests we made. Very endearing with their courting behaviour.

Publié le 12 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThank you for allowing us to stay at your property, it provided an ideal base to explore the surrounds of that part of the island. The visits from several furry friends were a real high light (wallabies, koalas, Lola the dog).
If I was to provide any constructive feedback, we weren't provided with any towels for our daughter (3rd guest) and a hand towel would have been great.
Overall though, was a fantastic stay.

Our sincere thanks Craig for your appreciative review. Tickled that you saw the koalas - being reported by most guests lately. Mother gave birth to a joey around November.
Please accept our apologies re the missing towel for your daughter. Had we known, we would have asked our cleaning lady to pop in with extras and a hand towel.

Great stay at vivonne bay. House has everything you need and host is very responsive. Feed the wallabies off the decking at night!
