Once we found the house, it was an easy 5 minute drive to/from Volcano National Park entrance. Enjoyed having dinner at Volcano House, picking up lunch at Rico's Taco Shop and made-to-order subs at Kilauea General Store that we brought to the park. We will be back..

Beautiful home in the jungle

We loved the small sleepy town of volcano, but also liked being just about 8 minutes from the volcano national park entrance. The house was very clean, cozy and yet spacious for just the two of us. We kicked off our honeymoon with three nights in this beautiful home so that we could explore volcano national park. We loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend buying groceries in Hilo or Kona before you come, as restaurants are limited as well as places to get groceries.

Great quiet get-away!
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for a couple nights when we went to Volcanoes National Park. It was less than ten minutes to park entrance. We felt like we were staying in a treehouse in the jungle. Very peaceful and most of the time all we could hear were birds and frogs. We had one small problem with a GFI outlet tripping when we arrived, but we called the owner and it was taken care of that night. The kitchen was well stocked and the futon had a great mattress. Really enjoyed everything here!
