Hôtel paisible et très propre.
Publié le 16 août 2016 sur ExpediaIl s'agit d'un très bel hôtel. L'état des installations était impeccable. Nous avons trouvé les petites attentions de la part des s propriétaires très agréables. Le cadre était enchanteur et très romantique.

Our stay was truly exceptional. At The Crater's Edge is beautiful and serene allowing us to fully relax and unwind.
Our hosts, Chris and Eric, were outstanding in their attention to detail. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every aspect of our experience. This was easily our favorite place to stay while in Hawaii.

no working hot tub.
Publié le 24 mars 2024 sur HotelsThe host did not inform us the hot tub was broken. I wish we were allowed the opportunity to cancel since it was the main reason for our stay. Communication is key. Seems based on another review, this issue was already present.

We genuinely had no idea you were upset as you stayed for the whole reservation without indicating any dissatisfaction. Nonetheless, we take your feedback seriously and will ensure better communication in the future. Nothing wrong with the property whatsoever. The problem is that we were LIED to! This property was advertised on Expedia as having a hot tub which was a major reason for us chosing this unit. This was the most expensive room on the volcano and would have been worth it if they delivered on their promise. Before you book, you'd better make sure everything is in working order. The owners did NOTHING to offer restitution for the shortcoming. BE WARNED!!!

We understand the importance of amenities like a hot tub and we genuinely felt bad that it wasn't working during your visit. Although we have temporarily removed the hot tub from our website while repairs are underway and our staff mentioned it not working when you checked in, we empathize with your frustration regarding it being listed on another online platform. As a token of goodwill, we refrained from charging you for an additional day due to your very late checkout.Your feedback is invaluable and we ensure better communication regarding any issues in the future.

Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The owners are wonderful, and there are thoughtful touches throughout the entire room. There’s nothing quite like falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest. Literally 5 minutes from Volcano National Park, and feels secluded but safe. When I come back to Big Island, I’ll definitely go out of my way to stay here again. Thank you Eric, Chris, and Po!

Romantic tropical paradise

The room was absolutely gorgeous and very romantic with a king bed, private porch, whirlpool tub and a fireplace in an ultra tropical environment. The owners were warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. It's also only 5ish minutes from Volcano National Park, which was perfect for us. 10/10 would definitely stay again!
