Final leg on Big Island
Publié le 27 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayAfter attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side.
Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.

Zu kalt im März
Publié le 14 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWir haben nachts sehr gefroren, die kleinen Elektroheizstrahler sind zu wenig. Wir waren im März dort, ist zu dieser Jahreszeit eigentlich nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben mit Schal. Pullover, Hose etc. geschlafen.
Code zum Öffnen der Tür am Anreisetag war nicht klar verständlich.

These guests said in their review that they were too cold at night. Each room has a space heater that works very well (we have never had anyone else complain about being too cold) and there are LOTS of extra blankets in the closets as well as the wood burning stove in the living room. This is a good example of why guests should communicate with hosts during their stay. We would have made sure they had everything they needed to be comfortable. We wish they had reached out.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway!

Volcano Vacation
Publié le 18 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis stay was our 3rd at Kilauea Cabin. We love the proximity to Volcanoes National Park and view of the golf course. The cabin is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The shower is fantastic as are the thick, fluffy towels. We love this place and will definitely be back.
