The Perfect Stay in Pele’s Secret Garden
Publié le 11 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is one of the best, unique and wonderful places we have ever stayed!! The home and surroundings are beautiful inside and out. The home is super clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly want or need and then some - including fresh fruit and coffee beans!! The beds, linens and furnishings are very comfortable. The outside areas have plenty of seating areas to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Peggy was an excellent host!! She provided great information and was always available if we needed anything. We would definitely love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone planning on staying in the area. Thanks again!! K&P

All the comforts of home in the rainforest
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayPele’s Garden is beautifully furnished and decorated, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is fully stocked with assorted pantry items, coffee beans & grinder, coffee maker and french press. Peggy also provided eggs, butter, and half & half. Although the property is less than a mile from hwy 11, it is VERY dark and lushly vegetated. I loved that there were flashlights. There was even a basket of chunky foot warming stocks. The bathroom showers had professional shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The towels were luxurious. The beds were sooo comfortable. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to stay at Pele’s Garden again!

Wonderful stay
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayA beautiful oasis in the middle of Volcano. Peggy made the check-in process a breeze and welcomed us into her cozy home with fresh fruit and flowers. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lovely house to relax after hiking at VNP.

Truly magical

Peggy is a very considerate host: when we arrived, we found a tray of bananas, papaya, and pineapple + a well-stocked refrigerator. We loved drinking our morning coffee on the wraparound deck & listening to the whistles of tree frogs in the evening. The photos are beautiful, but the in-person experience is even better.

Great location. Super host. Feel like home- a very warm and welcoming home. Great place to stay to enjoy the volcano.
