There is no water view, the trees summer leaves are blocking it. Also, the ceilings are quite low (7’), and each room has a ceiling fan. So the property might not be for you if you are tall. Also, if you have any mobility concerns it would be a challenge. It is a second floor unit, the beds are very low to the floor (to accommodate for the low ceilings) and there are some stairs inside the unit that are very easy to trip down.

somewhat disappointing
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI can't say we didn't enjoy our stay in the Wabasha area-did a lot of interesting things. However, we have stayed at several VRBO properties & have never been unhappy until now. The unit was clean, comfy, & well stocked but there were some issues that you might want to consider. The stairs leading up to the unit are quite steep and carrying supplies & luggage may not be suitable for senior citizens. It was exhausting to say the least. The "partial river view" is actually no river view due to overgrown tree branches completely blocking any view. The beds, although comfy, are very low & difficult to get out of. It is a very convenient location to explore the area but just beware if you have any physical issues.

Great little getaway!

Girls Getaway
Publié le 29 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Clean, quiet and within walking distance to everything in town. The outdoor steps up to the front door are steep. My friend was a little unsteady carrying luggage up and down the stairs we are seniors. Did not use the deck.
