Cozy - great location

Great getaway with my daughters
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy three daughters and I met in TX for a girls weekend and had a great time and stay. The home was as advertised and had everything we needed. It is close to downtown Waco and close to good restaurants. One recommendation I would have would be to have a keyless entry into the house rather than a key (and the key box is broken, so I ended up keeping in on the car keychain throughout our stay). Overall and great stay!

Thank you Judi, for the wonderful review! Im glad you enjoyed your stay and had a blast in Waco! Just so you know, the lock box isnt broken! Its working fine, yoy just have to push the code buttons down all the way,or it wont register. I have keyless entries as some properties, but if the battery goes dead, yoy can't get in, so yoy have to use a key box as a backup! Wouks love to have you back! Great location
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was easy to get to everything we wanted to visit. This home was the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been staying in VRBO’s for years. Lots of cobwebs, dirt and dust in corners, some dishes had to be rewashed before using, there were washed towels still in washing machine and dirty dishes in dish washer. The backyard could also use some cleaning up. Patio was nice to sit on during our downtime. It’s decorated very nice

Im very upset about this review, im a,witness to how clean the house was before and after your arrival! I absolutely have the best cleaning gal ever! By the way the only cobwebs in the home was behind the kitchen window blinds, and they were,at the very top in one corner! Dishes were clean in cabinets and tgere was nothing in the dishwasher! I have lots of return guests that book throughout the year, and give me 5 star reviews! So, seeing this is a shame! Good luck with all your future stays,

Met our needs but not our expectations….
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI anxiously leave this review as in reviewing previous reviews, host does not receive critiques well.This property did the job, unfortunately would not book again. Property has great potential but needs some TLC.
1. The property is listed as 2 bathrooms but is actually 1 and 1/2. This is disclosed in the narrative description which I missed, so that’s on me, but still felt mislead. One shower for all guests, up to 8? Glad we were not a party of 8.
2. The host did not advise of the pet fee, which I advised we would have when I initially booked the property (and was a main reason for selecting this property), until we were checking in. Addt'l y host wanted an $80 early check in fee.
3. Host attempted to glue a tear in the fitted sheet in master bdrm. Left a big rough spot in sheet and it was not suitable to be used. Got another sheet from linen closet which also had a spot with a tear that was glued. Had to get another sheet to use.
4. Beds slept well and were comfortable. A+
5. The backyard did not portray the description given in the listing, had multiple tripping hazards, and overall detracted from the property.
As previously stated, it did the job.

Don’t Trust the Pictures…the house is filthy and disgusting
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host brags about the updated unit but buying a new couch and matching chair doesn’t cover up the horrid condition of this lousy rental.
First impression upon entering the rental was the disgusting smell. From there it only gets better.
There were dead cockroaches and other bugs all over the house. The bathrooms were filthy as there was pee all over the toilet seats, broken light bulbs, missing door plate strikes so my young daughter almost got locked in the bathroom. The bedding in the middle bedroom was stained with urine.
Don’t try opening the windows as the blinds and windows are covered with dirt. Similarly, don’t look closely at the floors as there is dirt all over this house. This house is not clean and has probably never been cleaned.
Moving to the kitchen, the fridge has mold all over the door handle and inside the fridge as well. Again, not clean and throughly disgusting.
We had rented this house for Baylor graduation. Unfortunately we had to leave the rental unit early and our weekend was ruined because we didn’t feel safe staying in such squalor.
Debbie Rocket takes no accountability for her horrendous rental. Numerous excuses.
My family and I have stayed in multiple Vrbo homes throughout the world and this unit in Waco was by far the worst, dirtiest and falsely advertised rentals we have ever seen. I highly suggest no one stay at this rental.

Mark, you are awful, and this horrible review is a total lie! You wanted a refund because you didnt end up needing the extra night needed for your stay! I had already given you a refund for the days before you even got to the house,You asked for a trip change and I granted that! You will be reported to Vrbo for this fictitious bunch of lies for not getting your extra night refunded. I only hope that future guests will read the great reviews before and after your stay, until this review gets removed! You were also angry because you broke a curtain rod and never bothered to mention it. You are the type of guests that ruin this business for hosts. All I can say, that is nice, is shame on you!

Decent House, Greedy Owner
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at this house for two nights while our power was out from hurricane Beryl, so we had our two dogs with us. Overall, the house met our needs, and was in decent shape. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but don’t recommend booking this house because of our experience with the owner after we checked out. We paid upfront $160 extra for pet fees to bring our two dogs with us, and a couple of days after we checked out the owner charged me an extra $60 for “excessive pet hair” in the house. My dogs were never on the furniture and were only ever allowed in one bedroom and the common areas. I asked the owner to remove the charge because $220 total to clean up pet hair is ridiculous, but she refused. On top of that, there was already a lot of pet hair in the house when we arrived. This owner is clearly trying to squeeze customers and take advantage of those bringing their pets and then doesn’t even have the house cleaned well after charging all that!

Cozy urban getaway

Hello, thanks for staying, and the nice review! I think you might have confused my listing with another one. I do not have a hot tub and its not mentioned that I do! Sorry if you thought I did have one. Not sure what you meant about back yard, but I keep it mowed, and its has nice shade and lots of seating, also a huge fire pit, but here lately its been to hot to enjoy much outside! Thanks, Debbie
