Central location
Posted Sep. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayA very nice property, in very quiet vacation community. Perfectly located for visits to Port Isaac, NewQuay, Padstow, Polzeath, Tintagel.
The only small negative, we found the bed wasn't not the most comfortable, neither were the pillows, but all else met or exceeded expectations.

Christmas gathering

Great stay

Nice Holiday, Shame About the WiFi
Posted Sep. 18, 2021 on HomeAwayWe had a very nice time at the lodge and were very lucky with the weather. It's a shame the wifi and telephone signal was so poor it made booking pubs and restaurants very difficult as they only wanted on line bookings.

Many thanks for your review John and I am sorry the wi fi was poor during your stay. This is never normally the case with the wi fi in this lodge as the owner ensured good and adequate wi fi was installed prior to holiday letting. This would therefore not happen again during anyones stay.

Nice area on site but unfortunate occurrences.
Posted Aug. 18, 2021 on HomeAwayDue to being with our family we enjoyed our stay but a few points to make. It was not clear where the key box was when we arrived tired, so we contacted the phone number given and the young lady was sad that she could not help us. We eventually found it under the decking lip , not at all easy to find without clear instructions. On two beds the sheets were very damp !! so we had to put them through the Dryer next day, We then discovered that one of the sheets had three splits in it !!!! We were also disappointed that as there were four adults there was only two large shower/bath towels.

I'm sorry you were unable to find the key box and have since updated the pre-arrival letter stating more precise details.
I also apologise with the linen problem and would have liked you to have got in touch with the number left for the housekeepers who would have happily provided you with some more.
I hope this hasn't put you off returning in the future as we would love to welcome you again.
