Limited restaurant options close by that aren’t fast food, but this isn’t a tourist scene either. We managed, doing online search in advance helped. The unit is set up with most everything one could think of. My spouse couldn’t get the toaster oven to work but the toaster covered that need, other appliances were fine. Fantastic beachfront location with access. The sleeping porch got noisy when the wind was blowing hard (mainly one night). Some traffic noise at times. There is a homeless/camper presence on this end of Oahu, mostly seen driving past, not noticeable right by the rental.

Great place to stay
Publié le 2 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwaySimple house right on the beach makes for a good stay. We went to the beach every morning. Plenty of food and stores in Waianae. Be prepared for traffic, it's unavoidable on the island. Washing machine was a nice bonus

If that is all Lorie can report about such a beautiful place she definitely stayed at the wrong place. I would suggest a hotel for her next stay.
I am definitely checking on a new barbecue if needed and the electric is to code.

Nice cottage on the water

Far away from the city, and right on the ocean, it’s a short staircase down to ocean access. If you’re looking for a fancy hotel, or a manicured neighborhood, this is not your place, but if you want to stay for a fraction of a hotel cost, and enjoy a waterfront cottage, this is a great option.

Nice get away spot
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was as described. No frills, but has what you need for your stay. We were out and about all day during our stay so it was perfect. View from backyard is outstanding and hearing the waves all night was amazing. You do have to go through a bunch of homeless spots on your drive in and avoid those beaches, but the beach right by the house was good. Sister lives on property and was very friendly and helpful and it was nice knowing others were around.

Breathtaking and relaxing

This quaint little bungalow has charm, location and the potential for life-long Hawaiian memories.

Incredible beachfront location

Property was HOT during the day (May/June) where it was a bit unbearable to stay inside, especially in the bedroom with direct sunlight. I think it sits a bit lower and the hedges impede the breeze. Overall, the location was amazing; host was really, really good (sister lives next door, so felt a bit safer); beach and rocks were gorgeous, and not as crowded as other beaches we visited. Great spot to watch sunsets for a mother/daughter trip.
