During the Autumn season, you may get a visit from our resident peacocks, and enjoy panoramic views of the orchard, hills, and Alps.
The Space:
Weka Pass Cottages 1 by Tiny Away sits in the small town of Waikari, South Island New Zealand. The tiny house is close to the vibrant town of Amberley, Waikuku Beach, and Weka Pass Railway just a few stones away. You can even take a short trip to the alpine village of Hanmer Springs, known for its known for its natural hot pools and stunning landscapes.
A lifestyle block surrounded by orchards that offers a private space and a fire pit where guests can relax under the magical, starry night sky.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is just an hour's drive away from Christchurch, with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for your use.
If you plan to spend your holiday homes NZ escape here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there are three-tiny houses (Weka Pass Cottages 2,3, & 4) that sit on the same property. Additionally, "Mona Vale Country Estate" is another tiny house located 800m (2-3 minute drive) away from the Weka Pass Cottages.
If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guests will have access to the tiny home and enjoy privacy. However, access to the land host's private residence and other neighbouring properties will be restricted.
