Great Place to Stay in the Big Island
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay here was fantastic. It’s a nice, quiet corner unit close to a great beach, shopping and golf within a couple minutes. The beach gear is great to have on hand and the washer and dryer kept our packing light. We would stay here again.

Just ok
Publié le 2 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed at the Waikoloa Colony Villas for over 12 years. ResorticaHawaii apparently manages this particular property for the owners. We were not sent a notification when they charged my VISA for the balance of the amount owed, they did not change my status to PAID on the VRBO website, they tried to switch us to another unit, refused to work with us on an early check in (we were leaving another unit with refrigerated and frozen items and asked to either check in early or just be allowed to transfer our groceries - ResorticaHawaii said no), notified us the day before about pool closures at the resort and did not offer any options or compensation. I would NEVER book through this agency again!
The condo itself was just ok. Very pricey and pretty sparse in terms of kitchen items and updated towels, bedspreads, etc. The carpet on the stairs and in the upstairs bedroom is the original carpet and well worn. I would not pay this price for this unit again. It did have nice light in the mornings, but it is also right next to the road.

We work hard to exceed guest expectations and are disappointed that there was any miscommunication.
Our payment schedule is clearly outlined and agreed to upon execution of the VRBO booking. We charge the card on file 60 days prior to arrival.
We could not offer an early arrival, as we had a guest departure that morning and cannot allow access until housekeeping completes their duties.
There was an unscheduled 1-day closure of ONE of the pools during the stay - but the other pool remained open. This was communicated when the onsite management notified us.
Lastly, we would suggest there is much better pricing if you travel outside of the peak Hawaii season. We are sorry we did not meet this guests expectations, but truly appreciate the feedback.

Lovely Getaway!
Publié le 26 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the trip immensely and the property in Waikaloa was perfect. The house was super cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The check in process was a bit challenging, but when reaching out for help we received the needed info to get into the building. We loved the pool for morning dips before leaving for one of the many beautiful beaches that were so close.

Hawaiian Paradise
Publié le 21 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe received check-in instructions before arrival. The process was very easy. Accommodation was comfortable. Can't speak to how well equipped the kitchen was as we didn't cook during our stay. The Waikola area is beautiful.
