The chalet was great, however, i thought that having to walk to the toilet and showers was something i did not enjoy bit i know now not to book in the Winter season again and would probably go to a motel. 4 out of 5 is also my rating. Thanls

Hi Robert, thank you for your review and feedback. Our kitchen cabins are our most basic cabins which do not have a private bathroom inside the cabin itself, communal facilities are used. This is to provide an option for all budgets. All of our self-contained cabins come with private bathrooms inside their cabins. We hope to see you again another time :)

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our kitchen cabins do not currently come with TVs inside to offer guests a budget option. All self-contained cabins come with a TV and we have a TV room by reception which all of our guests are welcome to use. We are glad to hear you found your stay otherwise good :)

Staff were amazing. They went the extra mile to make my stay very comfortable after a long drive.

Make sure you are clear whether cabin has private bathroom or shared.

Hello, thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. We try to be as specific as we can with the restricted options on listings on 3rd party sites. Our Kitchen cabins do state it is a shared bathroom, our self-contained units state there is a private bathroom, this information is located under the more details tabs of the room options. Book a 1 bedroom cabin and it was excellent check in was easy and those’re very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended an excellent dining option would definitely return

A Very beautiful and quiet place to enjoy. Thank you for your great hospitality. The clean cabin were set with all you need, the sea with its fresh air and clean environment make it all the sweet memories of Camp Waipu Cove.

Very nice to be very close to the beach and hear the waves. Be aware that there will be lake flies and they do get in when you open the door to your cabin. The shared bathroom was kept clean.
