Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and interesting, the breakfasts and afternoon snacks delicious, with a huge selection of teas! The bedroom, though quite small, was very comfortable and the bathroom modern and very clean. There is a comfortable sitting room and in the basement a game room with pool table. You can have wine and beer too! It is located about a mile from Waitsfield Center which has many restaurants and cafes, interesting shops and art studios.

We loved our stay at Mad River Inn. It’s a beautiful space and the hosts are warm and helpful. Breakfast and baked goods were phenomenal.

The property was so genuine both in terms of the acreage and space outside, as well as the authenticity of the 1860's building, inside. The host and hostess were incredibly engaged with the guests and offered information about the property, building, and surrounding area points of interest. The breakfast was amazing with both a savory and sweet option daily as well homemade afternoon snack. We felt completely at home and well taken care of. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.
