L'étape sympa sur la route du nord
Publié le 1 sept. 2017 sur HotelsC'était une étape dans le nord de l'Angleterre. Très bel hôtel. Personnel sympathique et professionnel.
La piscine, le sauna et le hammam étaient les bien venus. Parfait rapport/qualité prix.

Publié le 27 août 2017 sur ExpediaI had booked a family trip with my wife and baby son. On arrival there was no cot despite asking at reception on check-in to make sure. Staff then sent to the room with a cot which they did not know how to assemble. Hotel staff are generally indifferent to the guests and I was surprise to read some of the comments around friendliness of the staff. The hotel is definitely in dire need of an investment as they currently do not meet the 4 star rating they advertise to be. The only positive for me was being close to M1.

Seul bémol les tarifs des petits déjeuners prohibitifs puisque 20 euros par personne pour le buffet.

Having payed for my overnight stay in advanced, i decided to pay for my breakfast and parking at check in separately and i asked for a receipt, i was informed i would get it in the morning at check out.
At check out in the morning, i asked for a receipt for my breakfast and parking, which would allow me to process my expenses before i got home. The receptionist informed me they only do paperless billing and could only email me the invoice. This i agreed to however the she sent the invoice to the wrong email address, on the second attempt sent the wrong invoice to the correct address, on the third attempt she sent the full invoice which included my accommodation fee which i have already claimed. This creates an administration problem for me as i requested a separate bill for breakfast and parking parking , especially since i paid for this separately from my accommodation.
I am extremely disatisfied and would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Disgruntled Granny!
Publié le 15 févr. 2020 sur HotelsI have stayed in many Hotels, and this was the first time I felt compelled to complain to manager........ Lots of contacts to reception, by phone and in person, about 2 major faults......all met with a smile and a promise, but NO ACTION!!!!!! I am 71, am on crutches, and had 2 grandchildren with me, so expected to get what I had ordered room wise, and when forced to move, expected a warm room.......
Also expected some more reaction from my complaint.....reduction in payment for example???
Food disappointing, but it is a motorway Hotel, for meetings etc mainly, but I had expected a bit more.
