Le réceptionniste Patrick a été très désagréable…nous n’avions pas vu clairement que les chiens n’étaient pas acceptés (information tout en bas de page sur la réservation de la chambre alors que d’habitude les holiday inn les accepte). Il nous ordonné de sortir de l’hôtel sans le chien et de revenir ensuite avec un ton agressif. Heureusement, le manager est intervenu et a trouvé une solution en nous faisant payer un supplément pour le chien, ce qui ne nous a pas dérangé. En revanche, l’attitude et le comportement de Patrick le réceptionniste nous a choqué et est tout à fait inacceptable…!

Thank you for your feedback, our team always try our best to deliver great service to our guests, we apologise if you didn't experience this , the dogs not allowed in our hotel and we mad it exception for your stay this had to be done by the hotel manager We hope to see you again in our hotel

Par contre très bien situé, tout près du centre ville. Petit déjeuner copieux et agréable.

The bottom sheet didn't seem to fit the bed right.
It needs to be clearer about the £7 parking fee for over night stays.

Fit for purpose. Need to fix the toaster. The whole hotel smells of burnt toast.

Great place to stay. Walking distance from city centre for shopping, bars, museums etc

Great reception team, poor hotel
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HotelsI gave an overall rating of 3, it would have been a 2 but for the staff who were friendly and helpful.
When i checked in the room i was given had not been cleaned ir serviced, the bed was not made and towels on the bathroom floor from the previous guest. The reception staff were very apologetic and moved me to a room that had been serviced.
The menu choice at the bar consists of 4 items, 2 of which are pizza's, when you are visiting for business you want and should have more choice.
The hotel is looking tired throughout and needs some refurbishment.
Parking is very limited and often had to park in the Ridings car park.
I have 2 more visits for business planned in October, for the reasons outlined above i will be cancelling my bookings. Such a shame as the reception staff were excellent, let down by housekeeping and limited kitchen staff.

Lovely staff and convenient location. But property is aged and small. Really needs major renovations to update the property
