Amazing getaway

Amazing location and services, breakfast was delicious, staff was very friendly, the room was lovely and spacious, comfy bed.We loved our stay and we will definitely come back.

Not very welcoming

Pleasant hotel location but the staff overall and at the checkin was far from welcoming.

The hotel was dirty and old fashioned. The service was the worst I have had in any hotel while travelling in the uk and Europe. They assumed things that was not true and being a gentleman I corrected them and paid my way. The swimming pool is only free from 7 am till 9am. During breakfast. Then there is a financial cost the the guest for the use off. This was not clear on the website when booking.

Its a stunning location set in beautiful surroundings. Sadly it doesn't include use of the facilities as i had to pay £15 to access them. Wasn't impressed with the charge and apparently that was a special offer price. The room we had was very, very warm and with no air-conditioning sadly it made for quite an uncomfortable night. I will add fans were provided in the cupboard but they just circulated the warm air frustratingly. All in all a gorgeous location but glad i only stayed one night. The spa and outdoor hot tubs are really nice but i don't believe an extra charge for their use is acceptable.

Nice location

Nice friendly staff free parking nice room clean and tidy was small room nice dinner and breakfast went to use the swimming after breakfast was told by staff your too late after 9.30am you have to pay £25 to use the facilities how ridiculous you as a, quest can come free before 9.30am bad communication from front reception didn't tell me about the charges or about the leisure facilities policys not good customer services between the hotel staff I felt I have been cheated out of paying very good money at the hotel for a small room and than been told to pay for lesuire facilities on the day not mentioned anywhere when I booked my hotel this the reason I booked it with lesuire facilities to use unfortunately got turned away from staff very emotional aleast they could have saus on this occasion please use it and either make a policy to pay or not to pay and nothing mentioned on the card about charges.
