An absolute GEM in a perfect location!!!
Posted Dec. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were visiting my parents for Thanksgiving. We needed a place to to rent and came across this cabin. I was able to find it on google earth and honestly it didn't look like much. But it had good reviews so we gave it a shot. Let me tell you the best decision we could have made. The cabin is so well thought out well maintained. The caretakers were attentive and kind. The house has so much character and is perfect for a family. The back deck overlooks the little river. We had fires by the river at night. Played cornhole and they even had axe throwing board (Child friendly - think nerf axes) The house was perfect and honestly my kids asked if we could sell our house in Maryland and move in to it. The location feels remote but it is only 15 min from Maryville and 15 minutes from Townsend/Smoky Mountains. We visit my parents yearly and this will be our go to for now on. This place is a little slice of heaven. Oh and did I mention they have a proper Pac Man/Dig Dug/ Galactica machine. Truly a wonderful place!!!!

Great place to stay on the water
