Quiet Retreat
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our quiet two night stay. Had a slight hiccup checking in (key code wasn't working), but it was remedied quickly. Sunsets were beautiful, neighborhood is quiet, and the surrounding area is gorgeous.

Calm
Publié le 12 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you’re looking for quiet, cozy, and calm, this is the place. The house was just enough for myself, husband and our 6 month old baby. We especially enjoyed bird watching down by the river. Kelly was easy to reach for anything additional we needed. There’s really not much more to ask for.

Relaxing river side weekend stay
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWallkill River was very peaceful. Very clean, safe, and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re getting away for a weekend. A lot of things to do and eat within 30 minutes. Owners provided a fantastic folder upon check in as well. Decorated very nicely.

Loved it!
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe needed a place while visiting our son for “A” Day at West Point. Though the miles were within range it was a 45 minute drive. That is the only down side!!! We loved this place. It is attached to a larger home and is over the garage but once you get inside you would never know it. The apartment protrudes infront of the home so you don’t see it when outside. The view and back yard are lovely!!! We were entertained by seeing we wildlife every few minutes. There were ducks and geese at sunrise, gophers, chipmunks and squirrels in the afternoon. We even saw a heron before dusk. The interior was so well done. The mattress was the BEST!!!! It had a HUGE new tv that we didn’t have time to use. The home had everything we needed! Loved it!

Beautiful spot!
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy son had a blast fishing in the river (caught several smallmouths) and I enjoyed just listening to the sounds of the river. I’d echo the other reviews about the light in the morning; some blackout curtains in the bedroom would be awesome. Overall a perfect stay!
