Great little place for a family
Publié le 3 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayWe spent the week of NYE at this at this cute little cabin. It’s perfect for a family get away. The hot tub was nice to rest in after sledding and skiing. It’s nice to be only mi ties away from Walloon lake and about 15 minutes from both Boyne and Petoskey.

Holiday get-away

It's location close to Boyne was ideal for my son who was skiing, and Walloon Lake just down the road is beautiful. We enjoyed time in the clean hot-tub out back. Meals were easily prepared and it was fun to hike in a beautiful preserve about 20 minutes away. David and Jenny messaged each morning and upon arrival to make sure that we had everything we needed - which we did. A friendly reminder of ways we could help with the check out was also welcomed. A good experience for all of us. Thank you, David & Jenny.

Snowy Walloon Lake!
Publié le 5 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was very relaxing in snowy N. Michigan. Felt very at home at the property. Comfortable and very well appointed. The hosts were very gracious and we were able to stay an extra day. Snowed every day and the snow was removed every day. Great getaway. 5 stars and highly recommend!!

Weekend Getaway

She had wonderful suggestions for local hiking. We hiked a The Hill Preserve and also in Harbor Springs at The Pond Farm. The cabin is centrally located to many nearby attractions. The local restaurants have great food. We enjoyed Noggin's pub in Petoskey.
The hot tub was a nice treat after a day or two of hiking. The cabin is very cozy and we enjoyed relaxing at night watching football games.

Comfy cabin in beautiful little town
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat area to do lots of hiking and not far from so many beautiful Lake Michigan beaches to Petoskey stone hunt, which turned out great. Colors on trees were pretty much gone already, but the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed walking the calm beaches at Walloon Lake and Lake Michigan. Walloon is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and an awesome General store. Cabin was nice and cozy. Master bed could be replaced, because it is old and not comfy. Otherwise, everything else was great at the cabin and very clean. Hot tub was perfect, and so was the front porch to have a nice warm fire. Loved that our dog could be out with us on the front porch, and it was all closed in. Great trip.

Fall Color Trip
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis little house was great for our fall color change and wine trip. The house is clean, cozy, well organized and had a great cozy feel. The hot tub and fire pit was the icing on the cake for us. Walkable to Walloon Lake Village area, Quick drive to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor and all the area wineries! Really good location. The only negative if there is one is the road noise while sitting around the fire in the evening. The house is just off31 and traffic noise is somewhat of a distraction. Great clean little stop that has a great location. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint Cabin
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayLet me start by saying this was by far the best VRBO I’ve stayed in. This cabin was clean and very well stocked with everything we could possibly want or need. The binder on the kitchen table had so much information about the cabin and how everything worked to all the favorite places to eat, site see and even rainy day things to do. Everything was labeled so you knew where to find or what it went too. So enjoyed this cabin and location. Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!!
