Une maison très agréable
Publié le 4 août 2019 sur HomeAwayNous avons apprécié la luminosité de cette maison sur 3 étages. Le jardin est petit mais très joli. La vue sur les animaux de la ferme et les champs alentour nous a beaucoup plu.
Il faut noter cpe faut que la buanderie (sèche linge+ machine à laver) est partagée avec les propriétaires.

Stay 12-19 September 2024

However there were issues namely the hot water in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms was unreliable sometimes completely not available or would suddenly stop. The upstairs sink and downstairs shower drains were blocked taking a long time to empty. The downstairs shower required the removal of a large hairball. In general the facilities were not as clean as we would expect.
The worst experience, and a likely result of the lack of cleanliness, was that one of our friends staying in the downstairs room suffered towards at the end of our stay with insect bites all over her midriff. On return her doctor confirmed that the bites appeared to be the work of bed-bugs or fleas and required a course of antibiotics. She has since emailed the owners explaining her issues.

I am very sorry to hear you have had several complaints about the cleanliness of the accomodation. Unfortunately, my wife passed away not long ago. The accomodation used to be double checked by my wife after the cleaning staff had completed their work. It is now my job to check on the accomodation before guests arrive. It is possible that I have not checked the accomodation carefully enough. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
I also regret to hear that you have had problems with the hot water in the bathrooms and the shower drains. I wish you had told me about these problems during your stay. I could have solved these problems immediately
As for the insect bites your friend suffered, I have asked a professional company to check if there are bed bugs or fleas present. If so, this company will solve the problem thorougly.
I am so sorry, but i was not aware of the problems during your stay. You are the first guests to have these kind of issues. I can only say that I wish you had a better stay at the accomodation. On my part, I will do my utmost to prevent any such problems in the future.
