Never choose this cottages
Posted Feb. 19, 2018 on ExpediaNo regular staff. Just one guy opened the door for you as checked in. No heating. No hot water at all. Poor maintenance at all

Posted Jul. 4, 2017 on ExpediaI booked to stay at the wishing well cottages for 6 of us and received my confirmation by e-mail. I called a couple of days ahead to confirm and request for extra beds. I was told that everything will be taken care of and that we just needed to bring towels as there was one private bathroom to share among the 6 of us. Check in time was also confirmed as 4 pm. My family and I arrived at the cottage address at 4:30 pm and there was no one there to receive us. We called the cottage more than several times and and waited for over an hour. Eventually a lady by the name of Robin called us back and asked us to meet her at a travel lodge near by and we were given the news that infact there was no cottage for us and that our only option was to book two rooms at the travel lodge and pay double what we expected to pay!!!! While we waited at the cottage, 2 other groups showed up and they were also told the same thing we were told!!! Everyone came for a cottage experience and we were all disappointed. My family and I decided to stay at the travel lodge as we were tired to look for some other accommodation, but some of the others decided to go elsewhere. The cottage itself does also does not compare to the pictures on Expedia ( dirty and run down)!
