Très bel appartement idéalement situé
Publié le 2 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayMignon petit appartement très calme dans un quartier résidentiel avec de magnifiques maisons (il faut se promener autour). L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir National Mall (à quelques stations de métro) Idéal pour un couple en voyage pour quelques jours. Les propriétaires sont discrets (ils habitent en haut) et répondent rapidement.
Nous étions avec nos enfants (8 et 11 ans) qui dormaient dans le divan-lit juste à côté du lit. Ce dernier est un peu bruyant (quand les enfants bougent). Aussi, il n’y a qu’une plaque de camping d’un rond et un four qu’on doit sortir de l’armoire, donc idéalement, il faut prévoir des repas plutôt de type prêt-à-manger à réchauffer.

I would have preferred a twin bed, day bed to the pull out couch, which is an older style that is not very conmfortable.

Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe VRBO was quaint and comfortable. It’s located on the bottom story and the owner’s are easy to get a hold of for your needs. The location is close to many restaurants and a cute market on the weekends. I recommend staying here!

Amazing neighborhood.
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was great. Close to food, shopping, and the metro. The neighborhood itself was very walkable and beautiful. Owner was very quick to respond with any questions and everything we needed was easy to find. Check-in was fast and simple. The space itself is actually the owner's basement. It tended to be a bit damp (humidity) but was also very cool and nice since it was hot out while we were visiting. Any sounds from upstairs are heard very clearly, if you're looking for extra quiet this might not be for you. Things did quiet down while we were sleeping however. Would stay again.

Live Like a Local

Everything was clean, comfortable, convenient, and the hosts provided ample information we could use to feel like neighborhood locals. We walked to everything - food, coffee, the market, Lincoln Park, and even the baseball stadium. The parking pass was much appreciated so we could drive ourselves and not have to worry about the car once we were there. Thank you Nolon for an amazing experience!

What a gem!
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is close to the metro line, which got us to all of the places we needed to go. We actually turned in our rental car early after we discovered how very convenient the location is. Eating out is a treat there too! just a couple of blocks away is a whole string of decent places to grab lunch or dinner. We enjoyed several of them ourselves. The Only Eggs place was an exceptional find for us! The apartment was wonderful too. It had everything we needed in it. It has a Fire stick on the TV, so that we could watch our regular shows. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower, clean towels and a very suitable kitchen.

Great Place to Stay in DC

Didn't book a car, so I walked to Eastern Market, the subway, and all around the Capitol Mall - even walked from the Amtrak station at 11:00pm and 5:00am without issue. Place was well stocked and in a fun neighborhood.
