OUTDOOR SPACE GALORE! Walk out onto the14X14 attached cedar deck, boasting 4 seat dining, Adirondack chairs & your very own wood burning chimenea!! Amazing space under the stars at night and wrapped by trees!!!

BARK PARK IS DONE & READY FOR YOUR FUR BABIES!! If you want to sit and relax under the trees, enjoy a fire and have your pets off leash, you can!!!!! 4 chairs with firepit in a beautifully fenced bark park!

Our Cottage Cabin has been beautifully renovated! Our focus was to offer a cozy space with a comfortable "at home" feel. This cabin is so much more than you would expect in a rustic setting. The Cottage Cabin is fitted with a Queen bed, jetted jacuzzi tub, wood burning fireplace, full bath with step in shower, a microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, coffee maker, a smart TV with streaming services, soft drinks, coffee, & snacks!

Your perfect morning will consist of stepping out onto your own private porch and now deck, sitting back on the porch swing, enjoying a cup of coffee. You're going to love the outdoors and we're confident you'll fall for our cozy Cottage Cabin!

We have numerous 5ft wide hiking trails throughout the property so you can enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, or just find a spot and sit & relax!

Perfect weekend getaway
Great little place to stay. Clean inside and out. The host was great and had good communication. We stay in all weekend. You can to but you’ll just have to plan for food accordingly as there is no stove or oven. We were prepared so we were good! Only downs of the place is that it is close to the main road so you hear road noise but it’s not terrible. Also the cabin is on the host’s property it’s very near their other cabins rental. But it was isolated enough that it didn’t bother us. We highly recommend.

Very Cozy!
We really enjoyed our weekend here! The cabin was so cute and cozy. We were greeted by the owners sweet pup who even relaxed on the deck with us for a bit! It was the perfect place to get away for a few nights.

Perfect Getaway
This was a great spot to unwind in the woods! Much more relaxing than camping as we had a bed, smart tv, full bathroom, and jetted tub, but all the same opportunity to connect with nature. The hosts were very kind and their dog became one of our favorite parts of the trip! The deck was a great spot for reading and listening to nature. We will definitely recommend to friends!

Perfect getaway with amazing host
My wife and I finally had a kid free weekend and decided to do a little romantic getaway. This cabin was absolutely perfect for that! The host attention to detail and friendliness definitely made our stay a great one. There are a lot of great restaurants in downtown Washington, we were about 10 minutes from getting any essentials that we may have needed. We will definitely be staying here again and put this on our list for anytime we need to get away. Thank you both for your amazing hospitality!

Wonderul in every way
This was my second time staying here, and once again it was wonderful. The owners are very hospitable and make your stay as comfortable as possible. As much as I would love to keep this little getaway dream a secret, I cant say enough good things about them. There are too many. If you are looking for a quiet respit, this place will not let you down.

This place was amazing! Really nice cabin with more than enough space for 2 people, which was very comfortable and relaxing to stay at. Beautiful woods around the cabin, and plenty of access to anything you'd want nearby. Really nice and communicative host as well. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We really enjoyed our getaway at Hillside Cabin! The space is fantastic, our dog loved the fenced in area, and it was so convenient to get to from St. Louis. Cristina and Tim were very accommodating our entire stay. We hope to return some day!

Super Quiet
We really enjoy the cabin in the woods. The K9s loved the off-leash area to play. Hubby and I slept with the window open on the rainy night and we slept in for the first time in a year! Great communication and snacks! We found out our brother in law stayed at the Cowboy Cottage about month ago. That tells you how great of a place the cottage is towards being calm.

Excellent place - Enjoy the peace - Don't bring your cat!
It was indeed a nice place to stay. During our stay, it was rainy and cool, which we really loved (much better than scorching hot). As a down side, we could not use the grill due to the rain. The cabin is really where you can cool off and get away. The pictures are accurate. The host was also very responsive, so we never felt left on our own. I wish the dogs (likely the host's dogs) would let our cat enjoy the deck a little more though. The poor guy didn't get a chance to relax! All in all, totally recommended.

Perfect romantic weekend getaway
This cabin and property setting is perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway! It has that secluded, country feeling, yet was close enough to the Washington riverfront and nearby wineries. The indoor jetted tub is a nice, large size. We enojoyed the deck and porch swing. We appreciated the drinks and snacks provided by the hosts. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful weekend getaway
Planned a weekend gateway for me and my husband. The cabin was exactly as in the pictures- it was bigger inside than i thought it would be. The decor was nice. We used the inside fireplace both night. Enjoyed the porch swing, had dinner on the deck with beautiful scenery. Went to Washington MO for the Blues and Barbecue Festival. Overall a great weekend! Thanks for all the hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Christina & Tim were so warm and welcoming, as were their pups, especially Remmy! Highly recommend this stay if you want a place to get away from all the noise and chaos of every day life.

The cabin is a great spot for a quiet few days. I used it for a writing retreat and was very productive. There was an issue with squirrels getting into the chimney while I was there. Cristina & Tim were very responsive in evacuating the critters.

Great Spot
This cabin was a great little getaway for my dogs and me. We relaxed and enjoyed our time by the outdoor fireplace and indoor fireplace too. The trails were nice to wear out my dogs and enjoy being outdoors. Thanks for having us and hope to be back again.

Relaxing Time With Dogs
I absolutely loved the little Cottage. The room was perfect size for me and the 2-80 lb dogs I brought with me. The property had a nice walking trail, a little creek for the dogs to splash around in, and an on-site doggie park. It was far enough away from the city that I was able to enjoy the woods and nature! I highly recommend.
