Perfect family getaway
Publié le 23 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked the cabin in the woods for family ski/snowboard trip. Crotched mountain was perfect for the kids learning and for us to enjoy as well. The mountain was about 45 minute drive from the cabin. We also were able to skate on the lake which it's a few minutes walk from the cabin. We really enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting the animals. I asked ahead of our stay what they would have available to purchase from the farm and Jenny stocked our fridge with delicious pasture raised meats. Everything was so yummy we stocked our cooler to bring as much home as we could. The cabin was exactly as described. Cozy cabin in the woods. The sunrise is spectacular and brings the woods to life. We had fun watching the blue jays from the window and our dog enjoyed sniffing all the tracks in the snow. Our family really enjoyed this getaway and would definitely book the cozy cabin again.

Get Away from it All!!
Publié le 24 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayCozy, quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed camp in the woods. If you are looking for solitude, you have found it. Sadly, it was pouring down rain during our stay, so we cannot tell you about the lake, but we highly recommend visiting the farm animals and meeting the owners if you are so inclined. Our hosts were helpful and friendly, and communication and check in went off without a hitch. Very nice stay.

Wonderful Retreat
Publié le 3 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was very clean and stocked with all we needed for a long weekend getaway. It is everything you want in a cozy cottage in the woods. My only request to the owner would be to invest in a new pullout couch as the one there is very difficult to sleep on and we needed to put the mattress on the floor. Other than that, it was a wonderful retreat for us as a family for a few days.
