Misleading Listing
Very disappointed with rental. The worst rental I've ever booked. Not enough effort put into maintenance and prep for next guest. Review gets picky, once a few important enough things go wrong I notice everything. First, the check-in process is much more confusing than it needs to be. Booked through VRBO received emails from them, guesty, we host, key cafe. Instruction emails are like novels. There's really only like 4 steps to check-in. When I went to get the key from key cafe after late flight, I couldn't, because the key cafe wasn't working. This set the tone for the whole stay. After getting in room, only because concierge was sympathetic to frustration she saw me experiencing, the disappointment kept coming. No AC in the room. Listing has heat/AC as amenities, but you don't see that they are only available at different times of year unless you read the the novel that is the property details. All issues with room -stocked with half roll of toilet paper and paper towel -no dish towels or wash rags -internet not working -toilet wouldn't flush properly -walls filthy w/smears on all -protruding corners of walls severely chipped,drywall and paint missing -vertical blinds disgusting w/smears all over -front of warming drawer under oven falling off -closet door handle broke -lots of loud noise. Dumpsters and building loading dock right outside window. Dumpsters slammed empty and loading dock open @ 7:30a Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for anything but this.

Great stay
Easy access to metro. Basic essentials are provided but apt was in a good location and easy access to restaurants and whole foods. Clean and comfortable, would stay here again.

Good Enough
The property was very safe, concierge was a bit abrasive but I could see why with the type of issues they have to handle all the time. The apartment is dated, but clean. When we arrived, the place had an overwhelming smell of flowers. We found it to be a wall mounted plug in and unplugged it. I thought it was to mask a bad smell but the place smelled just fine without it. Some pests/bugs in the kitchen and only one actually clean towel, but nothing the amenities couldn't fix. I wiped the kitchen down and laundered the towels. There are two things I always look for the most: a clean floor and clean beds and this place had both.
