There were no recycling in the whole building, which is bewildering in these days and age.
There were no vegan option available in the breakfast menu.
Personnel would leave the lights on after they left, which would stay on until we arrived (huge waste of energy).
For 2 days, we left a dirty towel on the floor, but there were not picked up by the cleaning crew even though that was what the sign said to do.

I discovered a bug in my bed while staying at the hotel. I promptly reported the issue to the front desk and the housekeeping manager was brought in to address it. Unfortunately, instead of providing a thorough cleaning or offering an alternative room the manager offered only complimentary parking and was presented as a “take it or leave it” option. This response not only failed to address the immediate concern but also left me feeling unsupported and uncomfortable. Due to the lack of adequate response, I made the decision to check out a day early and booked alternate accommodations at my own expense.
In an attempt to escalate the issue, I obtained the contact information for the regional manager and left a detailed voicemail. Despite my outreach, I have not received any acknowledgment or response which further underscores the lack of support at various levels of management.
Given the unsatisfactory experience and lack of response from staff I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't know whom you spoke with but now this has got to my attention I will make sure to pass this along to the right person for you. We want to make sure and assure that all of our guests get the best service and are very comfortable during your stay here with us at the Hampton inn and Suites National Harbor and this isn't acceptable in no way. The only thing was house keeping was terrible and the parking was not connected to hotel charged extra

This hotel need to update the rooms and hall way. But its ok for now.
