Trash business do not stay here
Room was hot and the ac was broken. Even after the technician fixed it, it couldn't get to a cool enough temp. The mini fridge was also running hot, could bearly touch the outter part it was so hot. The technician could only unplug it and could not switch it with a different unit or change our room. The bathroom was tiny, cramped, outdated, poor, exactly the quality of a low class apartment and not a hotel stay for the price that was charged. We did not not stay any longer and found a new hotel at a cheaper price with 3x quality. Would never wish the experience on my worst enemy.

Disappointing
This used to be a nice hotel when affiliated with one of the big brands. It has clearly gone downhill. The grout was grimy, coffee table was broken, and there were two pill bugs dead on the carpet and bathroom floor. All TV went out during a thunderstorm because “the [satellite] dish fills with water” according to staff! The occupants of the room next door smoked pot all night long in a no-smoking hotel. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel Silver Spring is not a 5 star hotel. But, it is affordable and not so bad overall. A nice shopping area with a theater, many good restaurants and the whole food store is within 5 min by walk. The area is pretty safe too. You can have breakfast in the lobby, but it's not so good. 😂

Perfect location for a traveler and tourist. Close to Metro station and all restaurants. Safe for a single traveler. Hotel was clean, amenities are good. Customer service was also very good

Not bad but not great
The building was clean and the staff was outstanding . While the building had 4 elevators only one worked during the 2 day stay and a second one was only operational for a few hours one day . No complimentary breakfast and an overpriced in hotel restaurant had limited options .

This place is cheap, with cheapness comes all the perks. Smells, heating that is on 100 degree, room and restroom that smells yes sir!! Oh the restroom and shower , looks like i will get fungal infection just by showering there. If you have extra money just dont stay here.
