Everything was incredible in This hotel. The location, the comfort, the equipments, the decorations, the restaurants.... But the best of this hotel lays in all the staff members and Managers. They make such a difference! They make you feel like you 're at home, and considered, they are helpful, professional, efficient, kind, hearty. They go above and beyond to make your stay more than perfect. Huge thanks to Adelsia the overnight Manager for being such a wonderful person, along with Wayne, Janae, Arif... Huge thanks to Chris, for being so wonderful with us, along with his team. Huge thanks to Pascal, the hotel Director, for being so welcoming and helpful with us. For traveling a lot to similar range hotels across the world, I can assure you that you all, have provided us the best customer experience ever. THANK YOU! Property didn’t have too much for amenities and we didn’t even go to the restaurant as its menu had limited options and really not within our taste. The staff were nice however our room wasn’t cleaned during the day even though housekeeping did enter! We had to ask for towels and when we went to dinner came back to room cleaned so mngt must have told them to do the room. Overall it was a nice stay room was quiet and best part of the stay was the incredibly wonderful shower with very strong water pressure! Probably best part of the day was stepping into the oversized shower.

We try to offer a verity of dining options between Bar Pendry (Upscale Euro-American), Moonraker (Japanese Light Bites and Sushi), and In-Room Dining (American). And if you're not inclined to enjoy any of those options, the front desk team loves to offer recommendations on nearby restaurants and dining options - Good news is that The Wharf has a restaurant for every single cuisine you could think of!We do apologize for the error in service where your room wasn't serviced during the day, but I am glad the team was able to recover and ensure that your room was taken care of!On behalf of the entire Pendry DC team, we look forward to hopefully hosting you again in the future!

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel, beautiful views all over from my room, by the pool, on the rooftop! The staff were all so welcoming and made sure we were taking care of during our stay! Will be coming back.

Ok but not great for the price point.

Stop for friendly. The room was OK. The price point was too excessive for what you actually get. We are offering an upgrade an upgrade cost combined with our hotel.com points would’ve been as much as a five star closer to the Washington Mall where we stayed at before staying at this place due to a flight cancellation. The pool with was it’s saving Grace without it it would’ve been a hard pass.

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I was wholly unimpressed with the service at this hotel unfortunately and will not return. I didn't get into my room until almost 6pm, reportedly because the prior guests did not leave on time. Fine... offer something, anything to make up for it. As i had booked through Expedia, we should have received an upgrade if possible. They offered an upgrade to a suite at cost, which was not acceptable, after already paying quite a lot for the room itself. We sat at the pool for a couple of hours, this was small and not too special. Later that night, we went to the rooftop bar to get a drink before dinner. We were told we could not congregate at the bar (2 would have been sitting, 1 person standing?). Although there were free tables, and despite the fact that we told them we were hotel guests and needed to leave in 30 minutes anyway since we had dinner reservations, they would not seat us but literally told us ee could take our drinks and stand outside (where it had just rained... so their furniture was covered up). They deigned to give me a late check out time, then had the audacity to send 2 staff members separately 5 and 10 minutes before that time to make sure we were leaving. Nice property on the Wharf in DC, but I will never stay there again. Extremely disappointing service.

The worst hotel experience in a long time

Having stayed here over the weekend, I can assure you, this hotel is far from excellent. The hotel stay was tense, unpleasant, and downright annoying. The foremost issue was the staff, who were rude or unpleasant at best (excepting those at the pool). Had I paid 80$/night for this hotel, the continued lack of anything akin to a good hotel experience might be excused. But this is not the case. I am embarrassed to have invited others on this stay and have them suffer the same fate. Specifics: - the “all day menu” which goes to 11pm , we arrived at 1030 and were told the chef had left for the day so no dice - the windows result in 0 privacy - awkward lobby setup - the valets whistling lasciviously at passerby - the dropoff area for cabs is a life threatening endeavor (almost hit more than once) - the bathroom light switches are directly under where you’re supposed to hang your bathroom towels - a guest literally biked into the hotel lobby nearly clobbering another guest (not necessarily the hotels fault but just like indicative of the mayhem) - at 11pm on sat evening the hotel lobby was entirely empty except for a strange man who did not work there who followed us into our elevator -while waiting in the lobby for for my friend (quietly) amidst other guests I was asked what I was doing there by staff (meanwhile the lobby is loud, overwhelming and freakishly small) - space under the door; I was awoken several times a night thinking our room door was opening
