Staff very helpfully, parking is cheap an safe, my room was very big and clean, room located next to the main road that is always busy, hotel other side train-line so noisy location, standard breakfast, I have electric scooter so easily went to the main attractions, by walk is far from the downtown.

Overall, the stay was okay, but the sleeping accommodations left a lot to be desired. The mattress and pillows caused serious physical pain because of the severe lack of plushness from the mattress and pillows. One of the keys to a great stay, begins and ends with great sleeping accommodations.

properties in disarray with elevators, sounding like they are gonna fall buttons not working doors in room sticking scraping on the floor noisy main road you could hear through the windows all night. laundry facilities is not working. mini fridge not working not cooling food spoiling.

The online photos definitely do not match the property. The downside: there was a hole in the wall in our room in the bathroom, a switch that I have no idea what it did, the AC and just generally everything had a weird and musky smell to it, weed smell through hallway, TV menu was in Spanish and SAP was not on and the option for language was not in the menu. The good: staff was decent, room was kind of clean I guess, I didn't try the breakfast but it is available and coffee is ok, the lobby is clean. However, do not go out at night around there without an Uber. The price compared to the other hotels nearby probably explains it though.

The gentleman who checked me in was wonderful. We arrived a little early and had no where to leave our luggage. He had us wait a small time while he prepared our room so we could go ahead and check in. His service was excellent.

Eek! Area was sketchy. Lyft driver only accepted my ride because I was a woman. Said he would have passed otherwise. Shower had some grime on the wall that fell off when the water hit it.

Poor staff and worse facility

Started bad went to worse. Staff couldn’t find my reservation. Even suggested I went to the wrong laquinta. Only after hotels.com staff call to confirm the res did they claim to find it. But then the damage was done. The main guy at reservations was snotty the rest of the visit. Then there’s the condition of the facility. Recently rebranded, renovation can be described as a lick and a promise. Repairs and renovations half way done. From the goo that holds the vanity to the wall to the unfinished desk to the crumbling curbs to the elevator that moans, shakes and has disco lights in the control panel (scary).

I was disappointed with the location and lack of sound proofing the hotel had. It is on a busy road and the backside of the hotel is along the metro and train route. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep well with the trains passing by. After our first night housekeeping came in and remade our room, this was fine as I was not expecting it since the sign said they come in every 3 days. I was disappointed as a personal item was missing after they had cleaned. When I let the front desk staff know they did ask if I wanted to file a police report but it was not worth that. It did add to an uncomfortable stay and I would choose a different hotel on my next visit and would not recommend La Quinta to others.

Not a safe hotel to stay in based on area.

The area (neighborhood) that the hotel is located is very sketchy. Narcotc overrun area I did not feel safe nor my children. I requested a refund was told I was unable to get a refund. I did not stay in the hotel I lost out on my money.
