Nice place especially if you have pets
Nice place to stay. Many places don’t allow pets, so it was nice that this place did :-). The host was very responsive and understanding when I thought I had two nights, but only booked one! He was understanding and his mom was so kind. I was very embarrassed that I did that. Big apologies again!

The place was very nice. We were very pleased. One suggestion would be to turn down the air freshener. It was very very strong, once I realized what the freshener was, I unplugged it and put it in the cabinet. Other than that everything was great!

Perfect size for the two of us. The bathroom looked clean, but smelled very musty. Carpet in living room was extremely dirty, believe it needs a good shampoo not just vacuum. Kitchen cabinets were sticky and would not stay shut.

Great experience
The space was as pictured. Had the essentials, great location. It was wonderful having free laundry on site in the middle of a long trip for a few members of our party. Jeyson was very quick to respond as we had an unexpected turn of events, and made it a breeze to add a night since it was available. Was very gracious when we needed a little more time to checkout.

We had our dog with us, the yard was nice to have a place for her to roam. Perfect little spot for an overnight. The main bed was very comfortable. We did not use the second bedroom.

Quiet, clean abode.
The house is older but very clean and neat. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved it there. They allow pets which we really appreciate. We would stay there again. Next year we/ll be in that area again and going to see if available. Thank you for a nice quiet stay.

Difficult stay - house very rough
The house was quite rough. There was tape on the rug, the light switches, and the front of the kitchen cabinets. The bedroom with the 'bunk' bed had a plastic lining under the upper mattress that was ripped and hanging down onto the lower bed. It was not really meant for adults and felt very claustrophobic. Hard to imagine 5 adults sleeping in that house. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook a simple dinner which was a plus. Owner was there when we arrived and did allow us to check in early. There was not towels for all four of us in the house but they brought us more since they were there.

This cabin wasn’t very clean. Rugs were dirty as was the kitchen floor. Rug was taped on some edges! A light switch cover was broken and taped to the wall with mailing tape! The bathroom had no electrical outlets to dry hair, etc. Very glad we were only staying one night!

No pride of ownership, disappointed
Was disappointed. 1. Not clean. Dried food on the kitchen table, which was also wobbly. Dead bugs on kitchen shelves and window sills. Kitchen floor was sticky. Rugs do not appear to be clean. ( was cleaner when we left because we had to clean the table before we could/would eat on it. ). 2. One bedroom, the bed was OK. The other bedroom, which was bunkbeds, the lower mattress is broken, and you roll to the middle. Needs replaced. 3. No pride of ownership, when painting, didn’t bother to make it neat. Rug was taped down because it was raveling. Kitchen drawer was taped, (with clear packing tape). Screen door was taped together with black duct tape. I have stayed in nicer, cleaner 1 star hotels. I could add more, however I think this gives you an idea.

The kitchen is better equipped in this unit than the one next door, where I have stayed in the past. It's in a quiet area and, although an older building, is well maintained. Check in was simple with a door code and Walmart is only a few blocks away. However, it is hot here is south central Alaska, only one window opens (in the kitchen), and there are no fans. Neither TV in this unit is currently in working order, so I'm having to watch the news online. Also, there are no curtains or shades on the back windows, including the one in the shower, which makes showering a little weird. On the plus side, this unit actually has the right amount of beds for the number of people that VRBO says can stay here, which is not true of the adjoining unit. Finally, although there's nothing the owner could do about it, there are a LOT of mosquitos here right now, so bring some bug spray.

Our stay was good but we ran out of toilet paper. There were 4 of us for 5 days and only 1 1/2 rolls in the house. I pretty sure that was supposed to be supplied. Then the smoke alarm started to beep so we had to take it off the wall. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen are broken. Also felt like the bathtub was going to fall in.

Wasilla rental
We brought concerns about the property to the owner’s attention and they were quick to respond and addressed 2 issues right away. The owner was out of town and even had their mother drop items off for us. It was great to have laundry available. We left suggestions for simple improvements and I am hopeful the owner will address those for the next renters.
